Living on your own

So last Friday I moved into my new apartment in a different city(same state) for college. Anyone else have any experience similar to this?
Class hasn't even started, and it's already been crazy living without parents. Also I'm home right now because I've been starving for a week in my apt.

Bacon is pretty expensive for a starving college student.

Costco sells amazing rotisserie chicken at <4 cents a gram.

a king by college standards. most college students are babies who only eat packaged foods.

eggs are cheap and satisfy your protein needs and you have the beer money. if you must, buy a whole chicken.

I live on my own now.
I like it.
At first my fridge was always empty.
Now I learned how to cook and I am lucky I have a (female) best friend who always get mad how messy my place is and she cleans it up!

some shopping advice: buy potatoes, eggs, oats, rice, beans, and some spices. you can live like a king and still have money for beer.

I also learned how to bake really good breads in college. great way to make friends right there.
