neutrogena really helped me back in the day i used it about every other day while taking a shower. first, make sure you've thoroughly rinsed your face with hot water so you open your pores, then distribute the acne wash (try the pink grapefruit one or the orange one from neutrogena, they come in small bottles for about 5-10 usd) and if you have a face scrubber like something that has bristles to really clean throughly then thats good, use that, but if not your hands are fine, just really clean it good before you wash it off. as you wash it off your face will feel alot cleaner, then.. if you want you could apply a little mask after the shower or those strips that you leave on your face and then pull off after 15 minutes xD i usually had put one on my nose and one on my chin =] (warning though, if you use an actual mask cream its probably gonna dry your face out like you said, i would do that one every other day, the days that you dont use the acne wash) and then yeah! that was my routine. it worked pretty well. I suggest steaming your face too (not literally steaming it off but i mean..) like, lightly boil some water in a pot, then position your head above it so the steam rises to your face, make sure to cover your head with like a towel while you do this so the steam wont escape, youll have your own little face sauna going xD! do it for about 15-30mins. itll really help clean out your face~ GOODLUCK =]
Whatever soap my mother/sister buys.

And sometimes I mix honey, olive oil, salt, sugar & moisturizing cream and use it after I used soap.

I don't use anything on my face and my only skin care routine is showering once in the morning. The more products I put on my face, the worse my skin becomes (which is also why I tend not to use makeup).

I used to have a lot of acne growing up and I tried a whole bunch of different washes and treatments that didn't help at all. I finally gave up and my skin cleared up tremendously. Whenever I try out something new though, my skin starts breaking out again.
