I think you're right. Comparing from the person climbing the robe during each job advance, it looks like the hair grew longer/bigger. Or maybe its just my imagination? o3o

@StarTali: A lot of hairs look similar but it doesn't mean it "evolved". Maiden's Weave and Curly Stream are both long and wavy (and I couldn't tell which is what for the longest time) but doesn't mean one evolved from the other.
