Weirdest school cancellation reason

Because of this, my school, along with a few other districts around me, are canceled.
Cancellation because of 48 wild exotic animals? I think we win.

I don't know if you would count Michigan as in the "north east" probably "central", but I know they do cancel schools for stupid reasons. Since I do live 15mins away from Detroit, I would hear news of them canceling school for like what? 5 inches of snow? Strong winds? Icy roads/sidewalks? Here in Canada, it's like 5% we'll ever see a school get canceled.

I heard that the guys wife left him, plus he had just gotten out of jail, and he killed himself so maybe he opened them before he killed himself...? Who knows =..
Mine's been cancelled because of snow. Like 15 times a year.

Dude kids have to walk to school plus traffic would be immense in some areas due to people not wanting to run over a tiger. It doesn't sound that ridiculous, but i'd like to know how they were released.
