Dark Metamorphosis and Damage Reflect
When doing bosses that has damage reflect, I ALWAYS die when I have Dark Meta on - I can stop attacking in time but not actually run away so meta doesnt hit it.
Does this annoy anyone else too or do I just suck that bad?
And would not using dark meta be worth the damage loss?

the good side is that the err balls counts as hits to the 500 virtue gauge so you get on a rope and let the err balls do the hits for ya.
Or just die
It is rather annoying to die from it. I try and memorize how the DR skill looks like so that I won't die. For example: for Hilla, when she cast a skill that looks like 2 arrows, 1 from each side, and then a red ball looking like a Battle Mage's Party Shield skill, that's when you have to stop attacking at walk away.
I'm not saying that it's easy, because I occasionally still die from certain bosses when it DR.
That's really unfortunate. Seems kind of unfair actually. Ifrit, Elquines, and Bahamut can attack DR bosses and you'd still be completely safe (only 1 damage anyways). They should make DM hit 1 damage instead.
Yea I'm hoping for meta to hit 1 damage too x-x;
Happens to me ALL the time...
Solution: either don't use the skill or just have your eyes open for the message, if it happens during hilla
solution, b4 cast, dark thrust away
Haha, that's funny.

Best bet is to turn off dark meta when you see a hint that the boss is going to DR. :U
Yep, happened to me too at Hilla.
Nothing to do about.
