Fennekin possibly a Fire/Fighitng type
New Trailer
In this new trailer, Fennekin uses an attack apparently called Glow Punch. To add to that the attack was super effective against Litleo, a Fire/Normal type.
The only type normal is weak to is fighting.
It's possible it could just be a random attack, but the attack is a new one, and so far we've only seen Fennekin use it. Another thing is that a noticeable feature of Fennekin is the ability to make it's ears glow. Chances are this glow punch could be it's signature move, which would practically confirm Fennekin as being a future fighting type.
I really hope i'm wrong though... I might just end up going with Froakie.

Fennekin= Fire/Psychic. Scratch, Tail Whip, Ember, Howl, Fire Spin, Flamethrower,"Psychic"
Chespin= Grass/Fighting
Froakie= Water Dark
Talonflame looks like a stronger fire type Pokemon to use early on than fennekin's unknown final evolution. It maybe better than Swanna in BW which has mediocre stats but useful move pool.
Fire/fighting is so boring empoleon gaining steel type was cool they should do something with ghost/dark/bug/i dunno
Fire Punch..?
Maybe it can learn a fighting move and not be fire/fighting. I mean sku.ntank learns flamethrower without a tm at like level 35 and it's poison/dark
:/
You can't assume Fennekin is a fighting-type because it used a fighting-type move unless you know it gets STAB.
I think Froakie will just be water type.
Bubbles are a Water type thing from what I've seen, so it's not really telling anything new.
Yeah, but bubbles float, so I can see GameFreak making it's evolutions' bios something along the lines of "uses the bubbles on it's body to fly" or something.
I mean, we don't know what the evolutions are like, after all.
man they give out so many trailers why dont they just post a full walkthrough
Frog has a lot of its anatomy dedicated to bubbles.
I can see it perfectly fine.
There's a first-gen water attack called "Bubble." It's more likely that the makers would use bubbles to reference a water type and not flying. And I gotta agree with Kalemora... a flying-type frog is very far fetched, even for pokemon
I can't see a frog becoming a Flying type, not even in its evolutions.
Chances are at least one of them will be a pure type.
Hoping for Fire/Psychic, Grass/Dark, and Water/Fighting to be honest.
how about fire/psychic grass/steel water/dark
i cant see them making a triangle balance starter that would be expecting too much from them

ikr maybe water/dark
i think it's gonna be fire/water type

A special fighting type can't be too bad
Pokemon became bad after the last few years.
Id be upset if they made another fire/fighting starter
But i wasnt gonna choose it anyway. I like Chespin
OOROTTO IS REAL
OT: I guess I'm choosing Chespin.
