Actor or Actress help

For my Film final, i need to read this assigned short story and try to "pitch" or "sell" the movie to my professor in less than 10 minutes as if I were in the film industry. I need 1 actor and 1 actress to fuffill the roles i have yet to cast.
I can cast anyone living today but they must fit the characters in the story. They are minor characters but I am having trouble finding the right actor and actress.

Male Actor:
Age: 35-45
Race: White
Character: Basically the sterotypical white guy who lives in a white picket fence neighborhood

Female Actress:
Age: 35-40
Race: White
Character: Sister to the Male actor but she has just had someone past away and is depressed

Not too knowledgable on actors and actresses. I know of the younger ones like Ellen Page and Jennifer Lawrence but not too much on one's who could play "bland" white people.
