How can a 14 Year old Make Money
I'm saving up for a game coming out next year, that I'm assuming will cost around $50 USD. Since I'm saving most of my birthday money for a car and college (and definitely not keys in TF2), I need a way to come up with this money. My parents don't give me allowance anymore for doing chores, and the only place that would offer a job to a 14 year old in my area is closing down. Ideas?

Buy lots of chocolate, Drops(fruity candy) Skittles, Chips, etc.
They sell for about 70 cents. You will resell for $1.
(have after sold) (purchased) (actual profit)
1.00 - .70 = .30
10.00 - 7.00 = 3.00
100.00 - 70.00 = 30.00
160.00 - 112.00 = 48.00
(and theres also tax on the game)
so you would have to sell MORE than $160 worth of candy
I'm not sure if I'd be able to sell that much though. Considering how not that many people will know and that there might be other people selling I doubt it could get to that scale.

And that's how terrible the market is.

You just broke the first rule.
I would just gather some items that you don't use anymore (like old books?) and sell them to your friends or family at a cheap price, like a book for $3 or something... at least you're getting a few dollars from things that you don't need anymore that are collecting dust around your house
Best of luck with your search ~~

you got a mouth right? all you need to do is dress up in girl's clothes and you're in business. this is 10x easier if you're asian and you look like a girl.
Eh, I'm just going with the candy thing.
Chocolate will melt, though, I'll sell other kinds of candy.
Sell some blood
sell your body.

I'd say I'm a mediocre student, and either way I would not be good at teaching.
Jeez, this thread is making me feel bad about myself.
Buy stuff at ebay and sell for more.
Too risky. The most I know about stuff like that is a hatconomy in TF2. Pretty good with that, though.
@TheOrange: You don't necessarily have to work at the front, you could be in the back washing dishes/cleaning. Who cares what the others think of you, you're making money, and probably doing a damn fine job at it too.
Buy stuff at ebay and sell for more.
Coffee shop/McDonalds?
I'm 14 too, and I can get a job at my local Tim Hortons, or McDonalds after pulling a resume outta my butt, but I don't need the money, therefor I don't see the point in getting the job.
Although, I'm in Canada, so I don't know how easy it is for you guys, if you can at all.
I'm a 5"1' little Asian kid, no one will take me seriously there.
@nathan604 How can I do that without being caught?
Your only choice is hustlin with candy bars at school like the other dude said.
