Mods and suspensions
It's pretty small but I got suspended for what, a day? because of a comment I wrote like a month ago and it was because i used the word "dbag" and it wasn't even an attack. The context was ".... sounds like a pretentious dbag" (referring to shakar96 and his blog) and the mod's reason was "mind your language." I'd be fine with this ban if it was a day after I wrote the post, but really, a month later? Mods are going to dig up old posts and suspend people for them? I don't understand. And the way the mod reasoned it with just "mind your language" is completely unprofessional in my opinion. But whatever, I feel like I'd either get suspended for this thread, or this thread locked but anyway, thoughts on this you guys?

Remember when suspensions were anywhere from 3~7 days for "normal" offenses?
I'm just glad I only get suspended for 12~24 hours now.

i got suspended for something small that i posted last month, but i didn't get suspended for spamming snoop dogg videos.
The mods can't mod. I've been suspended for saying "shut up" thats flaming apparently
Malapo said it. Old reports may just now be getting taken care of due to the lack of workers this site has nowadays.
To explain the time of your suspension: you broke two rules. Attacking another user and bypassing the filter. Half a day for each (which is the pre-set bare minimum for each of those violations) would stack to one day. The only violations that get smaller suspension times are spam-related instances, which is a minimum of 6 hours each. Mrb decides the durations to choose from.
these mods are gay. deal with them or leave this site.

I would say the word unprofessional doesn't really apply, annoying yes, but pretty much the opposite of unprofessional. I don't understand the argument that because it's older, it shouldn't count. At any point someone can click the report button and a mod would eventually go and see that post. Could happen anytime.
