Kanna

Hp based Kanna

I was curious, since the HP -> Magic Attack beginner passive has been fixed, has anyone attempted to create a Kanna that is based on HP rather than pure INT? Or even a hybrid of INT+HP.

With the hybrid I was kind of on the idea that you could just add the absolute minimum amount of INT required to equip maybe tyrant but more or less what ever you can get your hands on.

So I'm curious to hear your opinions on this. What set backs would you see? What are some of the positives?

Personally I see a character that can have incredible levels of M. ATT, yet at the same time I know the general magician weapon multiplier is 1.0.
If a kanna were to say put in the time to get to 220 or something, he/she would get both the level 3 link and loads more magic attack from their HP/magic skill.
Kanna doesn't get the level 3 link skill

@twopointonefour
At level 202 I had 27,496 HP
At level 203 I have 27,568 HP

Demon Avenger is the cheaper choice for all those who want the pure HP route.

If your going for pure HP don't bother resetting your AP to HP unless your already lv200+ that 37,500HP isn't needed unless your aiming for exactly 500kHP.
Also you can't have base 999Stat and 500kHP. If we had access to Rank S nebs then it'd be another story but that's just the tip of the whateverberg you'd still need to have perfect potentials on top of someone doing HB to pull that off.

In the end it boils down to what you prefer Demon Avenger or Kanna.(I prefer Kanna )

@Momijii: Which is why you get enough base INT or bonus to equip what ever ideal gear you want. Probably what ever Root Abyss sets require. Yes, it isn't very efficient but it's just an alternative character build, something maplestory doesn't have enough of.
Still doesn't stop the fact that you won't have nearly enough INT to make much of the magic attack you'd get from you're HP. In addition, you'll be lacking a lot of INT to equip things too.
What about those of us that already have 999 int ;D
I wanna say generally players will have 24~30k HP at level 200, which is 38 M.ATT or so on average at 200. Yet if a Kanna had a bunch of HP (over 100,000 since the cap is raised since Unleashed happened) they could get up to 142 M.ATT for 100,000 HP.

I'm unsure how much HP a kanna actually gains when directly added. Yes, that was something I knew, the ratio would be so one sided.
"+1 Magic Attack for every 700 HP you have."
Doesn't sound very efficient.

Kanna inspired Nexon to design Demon Avenger's stats the way it is right now.

level cap is 250 now, so the dedicated kannas can dump all their AP into HP since int is capped out at 999 and see how it works out
Magic Attack and INT revolve around each other; very often you'll see people either have too much % INT and too little M.ATT or the other way around. You'd have VERY little INT for that M.ATT to work off of. While it COULD work, I'm not sure if it really would work that well.
