Lost Some Street Creds. Was it Worth It?

Today in 6th period I was in a Asian language class and we watched a horror movie. The class gets loud every time something scary happened, and this fat Asian kid just erupts and screams "SHUT THE HELL UP". I knew this dude had an anger issue because he already had been suspended, he gets good grades though. Me and a group of people who was sitting next to me were just staring at him and I shouted " You Shut the F**** Up", He sits on the other side, so he gets up and walks toward me, he pull his sleeves up on the black jacket that he wears everyday and rubs his fist together as he walks towards me. In my mind I think the first thing that pops up in my head is to go ahead and punch this kid but I don't want to upset my parents again so I just walk away like 5 steps and then out of nowhere this kid stands up and gets in the middle of us as the fat kid approaches me and just pushes the fat kid slightly away. And he the fat kid goes back to his seat. The class started laughing at the fat kid then 2 mins later he walks out of the class.I got some comments after the period ended that I was scared and a puss. Well I just lost some street creds, i'm highly respected. Should have I punched that kid or running like a puss is worth it?

You do not need to shove your beliefs on others all the time
