Hard Hilla Def/Mdef

Does anyone know the exact percentage(s) on Hard Hilla?

I've attempted a solo, which utterly failed because she apparently likes to ignore Illusion's damage, yet Blaze still does a couple mils.

My visual %pdr in status screen is 66%, which should be 79%, but not everything shows.

That being said, Illusion ignores 20% def and has 35% boss damage I believe, while Blaze only ignores 35% and has no additional boss damage.

Killer question: How does Illusion only do 4945 damage, when Blaze does around 6-9m crits?
This is all done with Elemental Reset, which makes attacks neutral & bypass the resistances, yet the only difference is the huge damage gap.

Anyone know? It'd really clear up some things for me.

Hard hilla has 500% defence, so my guess is you don't have enough ignore defence with illusion to deal more then 1's (+the added damage from character card set effects)

Keep up the emblem cubing if anything and maybe recube the staff for % magic att, boss, and maybe even pdr. For non explorer classes, you generally want pdr on the emblem (since its only tier 2) and % att/ magic on your weapons with maybe a couple lines of % boss.

Thanks guys, this actually makes sense to me haha

I'm gonna double-check to see if I might've swapped my Illusion/Blaze hypers around for more damage/def ignore, if I swapped Illusion's hypers around that would explain a lot..

And yeah @NinjaOfTennis, I'm greatly lacking on the %pdr but I just can't seem to get %pdr lines on my shield/emblem..

Honestly, which of these would be best suited for recubing then;

35% boss 9% avoid 30% boss Fafnir staff (Yes, 9% avoid.)
35% boss 9% matk 9% crit VIP shield

Emblem is a work in progress that refuses to go Legendary.

Illusion doesn't have have as much PDR. My guess would be that with that extra 15% you barely got enough to lower her defence to <100%
The 4945 damage on Illusion is most likely from a Mage/Warrior set effect in your card deck.

Hey Urvin (fellow evan ),

To be honest, I'm not completely sure why your Illusion does exactly 4945 damage (and not maybe 1's instead).
Blaze does significantly more because of the extra 15% PDR it gives. On bosses like Hard Hilla with an insanely high amount of PDR, your ignore def stat is one of the most important stats you can have. Back when I had around 68% PDR, I had the same problem as you. Practically zero damage with illusion, and low damage with blaze.

Currently, I have 87% PDR (visually). This allows me to do close to full damage to hilla unless she has either one or both of the following: low health, or 5 orbs on her head (which means you've died 5+ times). Hilla actually becomes harder with every death, capping at 5. I believe her attack increases, but her defense rate increases for sure. A great tip for specifically evans to avoid deaths and make the bossfight easier, especially for a solo run, is to time your dragon summon correctly. When she uses the altar skill to trap you and drain your HP to heal herself, summon the dragon as soon as you see the message. The altar can be status resisted, and with the dragon you should have 100% for that short time. On the days I mess this up and time the dragon improperly and die, I occasionally fail the solo (mostly due to a ragequit or impatience LOL)

Now lets go back to around when I had about 82-83% PDR (missing 30% pdr on my shield). I did about full damage on hilla until her hair turned white, then I did about half damage with illusion and 75-80% damage with blaze, decreasing as the fight went on.

TL;DR: The big difference in your damage is due to your lack of PDR, and you should attempt to get some more. Blaze does more because it gives extra PDR compared to illusion.

Feel free to PM me if you have any extra questions
