I heard some Youtuber pronouncing Mille horribly wrong and I wanted to strangle him to death. "Put awhl ur SP into Milly"

I'll give my input: (capitalized letters indicate accent) (and by the way I'm from the midwest so I have use the 'a' sound as heard in "at" a lot lol)
Ludibrium - loo Dee bree oom (It's a latin word meaning toy, put it into google translate and the voice sample pronounces it this way)
Pianus - Like piano -o +us, accent on the 'a' sound
Ariant - Air ee ant
Kanna - Ka(midwest)nnuh
Aran - Erin (sounds weird to me as Ah run)
Zakum - zuh Koom (arabic word for the Quran's mythical tree in hell, put Zaqqum into google translate and that's how it is pronounced)
Henesys - Hen uh sis
Leafre - Lee fruh or sometimes Leefer
Mesos - A no brainer: rhymes with Pesos (maple pesos), pronounced May soes
Mille Aiguilles - Meel ay Gweel (hard g here)
@Kaxi - Mille in French breaks this rule, so it is pronounced Meel, and I assumed Aiguilles followed it, but it doesn't (guess it's nicer to make it rhyme with Mille anyways)

Is it really in French that two L's is pronounced as a I/Y? I thought it was only in Spanish. I pretty much go like the European dude in the video but for Mille Aguilles it's "Mil (as in Millimeters) Ah-gill (hard g)"

@kaxi: Yup that's correct however when you try breaking it down and explaining it to someone whose first language is English I usually try to break in down with the simpilist sounds. It actually makes it easier for some people to learn it and if you do it this way, it's still pretty seamless, it's just an easier way to not butcher the lango but don't get me wrong you are absolutely right~
Say it fast as the word should be said and you get the same sound =]

In French, Two L's together usually pronounce the Y sound.
So, It should be Mee-Yuh or something.

Always pronounced Arans wrong, huh? Ah-ran? Uh-ron? Aaron? wat. And I was always attacked by my friends for saying "mes o's", instead of "mey-so's". "Zak 'em" and "Za-koom" sounds pretty funny, though. x)

I pronounce Pianus "Pie-An-Us"
Zakum "Zack-Koom"
Leafre "Leh-freh"

I've had 2 years in French, and Mille Aiguilles has to be slurred. Mille is just "mill" and aiguilles "eh-gweel" Though if you try to say both words in the same sentence it has to be slurred together. It's hard to write how to pronounce it because it's just how the French is.
