I plan to give every class a go (except warrior, maybe - I just really dislike them) and will decide on a "main," once I've played them all a fair bit. Only problem is finding the time to do so.

And yeah, those block games you listed do look childish to me. Who knows maybe it is in fact because they have 3d blocks in them that for some reason they look childish to me. Yeah, Maplestory and pokemon do look childish to me but I've quit maplestory and I only ever play pokemon because i've stuck with it for so long when I was a child. It also makes you a tad of a hyprocritical since I am sure you play MS1 or pokemon which are also games that look childish according to your standards. Lastly how does it look like it's for babies if there tons of sex innuendos and blood in the game? Last time I checked babies don't even play video games lol.

@Zaktsu Why can't people actually do research about the game and find out why these graphics were chosen for once. Not to mention why do people keep calling it minecraft and minecraft isn't even the first game to have cubic graphics. Minecraft copied other games too you know? Why don't you call minecraft a rip off of other games as well? Or why don't you call cubeworld/trove a rip off of minecraft? This game is going to have a lot of user interaction and destructible environments. These graphics made things easy for that to happen.

Minecraft was not the first game made with cubes, that belongs to voxel graphic games.
The cubes also have utility, they weren't just added to the game for aesthetic reasons
