Banned for making mules?
So I manually made 10 separate accounts the other day to capitalize on the Hot Time events...just today I found all 10 of those accounts to be banned ._.
It said I was using 3rd party programs when I wasn't. WHY DID THIS HAPPEN?
On a side note, my main account and two other accounts that have existed for a while weren't banned.

Hm, I was only able to make 6 of the accounts from my laptop. The other 4 I made at my university's library though.
The Tyler volunteer dude on the maple forums said it was allowed himself.
Not that this really matters either way.

It doesn't say it on the ToS, however they previously implemented this restriction on their site where you could only create about 3 accounts or so per IP.
It wasn't posted in their ToS however. But there is a rather simple way to get around that using Firefox or Google chrome and using the Inspect element within it.
That's probably what got the OP banned. (provided they removed the limit of accounts you could make)
@LockedDOwn The ToS hasn't been updated since Nexon bought Wizet, so the majority of the crap on there is not enforced and will not be enforced. Mainly the rules about IGNs.

I'm going to go try this again for kaiser/ab. I think I may have been caught because I logged on each of the accounts late last night to transfer books into one mule.

yea thats true cause in the tos it says only 1 account
Multiple accounts are not against the ToS anymore. It's the exploiting of the event that banned them. Just like how people were hellbanned for exploiting the legends character creation event.

This is why nexon says that we supposely have over 1million players. Too many mules being created.
You're allowed to have multiple accounts but you shouldn't exploit an in game feature.
