I know that neither maple me nor banned story are up to date, and both have display errors

no the last time they updated was in October 2014, and whatever was currently in MapleMe was in the system already, but had not officially come out yet.
Well, you have to look at it this way, the people who keep up MapleMe and BannedStory are only a handful of people and who knows, they may have busy lives. The same goes for Bannedstory, but you can't complain if they've done so much work for free and open to the public. They'll update it when they have free time. Don't forget you can always ask them a question for they leave contact info.
Mapleme is still updating relatively recently...I know they have the candy candy perma nx items that are still current.
So far, bannedstory and MapleMe are your best bets, both haven't updated in a while. However, there are a number of items in the system based off Nexon that haven't come out yet, so other than like completely new hairs and new NX items, most of the items are already on there. But to answer your question, no, there aren't any currently updated Maple simulators released at this time.
To my knowledge didnt Mapleme stop updating like along time ago?
Pretty sure Maple Sim is the closest your going to get...Takes a while to update though.
