the class is fun but i crash a lot when i use bpm and the train ultimates at the same time along with that meteor skill thing.

@ailoki808: Bind the key to your keyboard, hold down the key, press up and left or right. You go up like 4 times, its pretty useless. I dont really know a use for it at the moment since theres an up jump? So im like eh.

i've been having fun with it. the story has been entertaining so far. hoping for more of it.

the skills are weird, but not bad so far. i just hit 3rd job. not far enough into it to have played with all of the skills yet. xD

will i main it? dunno. it's a fun diversion anyway.

Gonna be honest here- I find the playstyle extremely boring and generic.
I heard it gets better fourth job, so I'm holding out. The skill aesthetics are just really bland and thats taking away from me enjoying myself.

That being said the storyline is really entertaining. Not as good as Zero's but close. It adds a little bit of lore to the Maple World, which is good since most of the actual Maplestory lore is scattered throughout questlines here and there. (Which, if there's an alliance of Mages in the Maple world that Grendel is a big deal in, then why aren't explorer mages and Luminous/Evan invited to join?) I think Nexon should go back and revamp a lot of the older classes stories so their more quest-heavy like Kinesis is.

I like that it doesn't feel like a mage, but storyline hasn't really grabbed me.
Kinda curious about how/if Black Heaven will be personalized to him.

I like it, read none of the story though because I kept crashing during the intro cutscenes. So there's that. It's fun though. Also, my Seoul is like straight up pitch black, no background. Kinda funny.

Haven't played the game in like 2 years, I decided to log on today and I made a Kinesis in the new world. no regrets so far, pretty fun.

@tysmoosion: In my opinion it's slow until 3rd job; But after that it's really fun. The only thing that could make me enjoy it more if it had a flash jump like kinesis and vertical FJ. It would be a flawless class.

Keep in mind I haven't played them since the first release years ago. But if I had mage gear I would main it.

@jaytokyo: Do you think Battle Mages are fun? I was deciding between a BaM and Phantom, but I heard BaMs got nerfed super duper badly.

Honestly, I was searching YouTube for bossing videos of him like a week ago and found little to none so that makes me think he's not a great class to actually main...

Only other interesting mage class I've played besides Battle Mage.

Other than that it's a pretty strong class in the early levels.
