OK let me simplify TS question:

1) Make item B look like item A.
2) Now make item C look like item B.

Will C look like item A or item B's original form?

As in, now that he has a poser flaming katara (katana?), can he use that to make other things look like flaming kataras or does he still need the real one?
yeah thats what im wondering help me plz
It will function as the level 10 sword
If you haven't noticed (assuming you already used the anvil) the sword-with-the-appearance-of-the-katara still has the stats of the sword
He wants to know if you can use an item whose appearance has already been changed to change the appearance of another item. Like using a Sword that looks like a Flaming Katana to make another sword looks like a Flaming Katana. from BadgerDontCare

Question:
Does the new item keep the set effects? For a example, the android set gives a blue aura effect, would the new items give the effect?

I don't know what there is to wonder about. Nexon gave a description of what it will do and how to do it.

There's 2 slots when using the anvil, using the TS' info:

it's APPEARANCE ------------- FUNCTION

If you put the lvl 10 sword in appearance and the flaming katana in function then the flaming katana will keep the stats but look like the level 10 sword.

For example:

Spectrum Goggles------------------------------- Raccoon Mask
+1 str -------------------------------------------- + 38 weapon attack
+1 dex
+1 speed
3 slots -------------------------------------------- 0 slots
APPEARANCE ------------------------------------ FUNCTION

Result:
Raccoon Mask (looks of spectrum goggles)
+38 weapon attack
0 slots

I don't really understand the question, probably because of the way you worded it. But here's an example of how it works, and perhaps you can extract the answer from it.

I have a Reverse Lampion and a Dark Gigantic (both claws). I want the Dark Gigantic to look like the Reverse Lampion. So I use the anvil, put both items in, and the Dark Gigantic will now look like the Reverse Lampion.
Result: Absolutely nothing happens to the Lampion. Dark Gigantic now has the appearance of the Lampion.

EDIT: Oh I think I know what you're asking. You want to know if you can use an item whose appearance has already been changed to change the appearance of another item? Like using a Sword that looks like a Flaming Katana to make another sword looks like a Flaming Katana? In that case I don't know, but most likely no.

Can you, for example, Change a zakum helm, into the appearance of a pickpocket pilfer? Or is it a no because it's a thief only hat and the zhelm is a common class equip?

item that you want the look from will not change but the item that you want to change will change. Only one item changes
