Girls asking out guys

What do girls have against asking out guys?

Some of the typical responses

i'm too shy
Fair answer, but guys are just as shy as girls about these things. It almost never gets easier for us. I've seen guys in their 40s hate rejection more than being beaten up.

Its the guy's job
Unless you're willing to play fair and stay in the kitchen all day because that's a woman's job, this is no excuse.

Guys will think i'm desperate
If a guy likes you, no he never will. Secondly, if this IS the case with the guy, then it's because he's in the minority of guys and probably has some very weird problems with his ego... ignore guys like this anyways

Other girls will call me desperate
This is the only fair one, but the way past this is to simply not let other girls know about it. This is easy, seriously because guys don't spread around info as much as girls do.

In conclusion: Girls should ask out guys ways more often.

Then those cases where both of them stumble awkwardly to ask each other out.

I'll ask a guy out if I have to cause what if we're both shy to do it ? What if we both don't make the first move. Where's that going to go ? NO WHERE.
I'd rather just get it done myself and if a guy says no, then no harsh feelings, time to move on to bigger and better things.

Haha I tried once and it turned out okay, but I had to plan out what I was going to say a week before I actually did it

ya i agree.
I wish i had the courage to ask a person out
kudos to boys! ! !
i guess they don't do it not only because of the reasons you stated, but because its sort of still out of the 'norm'.
like, all this time it has been boys asking girls out and its always in the media too so its sort of feels weird for a girl to ask a boy out? ? ?

You're a girl, definetly.
Yea that's all I have to say.

If you're not a guy, you can't know it.

The guys I like aren't the type to like it if the girl asked them out.
And they wouldn't like me back.

It would definitely be nice and in the few cases that a girl has asked me out she has gained a lot of my respect but it's just not a thing although I think it's pretty attractive when they have the confidence to do so.

Naw, if I liked a guy, I wouldn't ask him out, b/c there's a high chance he wouldn't like me back.
