are there still a lot of us around?

are there still alot of us i/l arch mages around any more since all the new classes came out? my highest level character is currently and ice lightning mage (150) that ive ver gotten. but im not too funded at all. but since hes my highest i keep returning to him cause i have no motivation to switch everything around and try to level other characters. because for me as an unfunded i/l it was hard to get from 120-150 So are there still a lot of us active and what not? and what are some benefits as staying a i/l rather than switching over to another char. plus whats some good gear i could get clean. ive only got about 8-10mill plus a bunch of un used/wanted equips for other classes i can sell. and my range is around 15-20k buffed.

I can confirm this. I got my luminous to 195 with decent funds and he still hits more than 3 times less than my 210 I/L. My I/L has better funding, but the difference still shouldn't be that big. Their attacks are also horrendously slow compared to a skill like chain lightning. Their bossing is also mediocre whenever they are not in equilibrium. To be honest, I enjoy playing both, but I hate it when people say that lumi outclasses I/L by a huge margin because they have no idea what they are talking about or haven't played both classes enough to give them a fair comparison.

Less of us now then in maple past, but there is nothing wrong with being a rare job. I/L are not the best at anything but we do most things well. We tank fine, are decent bossers because of elemental reset, and still train fast. You can fund yourself with event gear and cheap empress and still do just fine. As much as I like I/L I would not just stay one because its your highest level character. It more important to have fun at any level. Plus if you find you love another job alot you will level fast from just spending time on it.

I'm still here. Been an I/L since 2008 and not ever planning on quitting it. Level 210 in Khaini. I don't know why there's so few of us. I/L is a fun, good and flashy class.

I think they're underrated. I see a few around, but I think they're overlooked a lot. I have one at level 70 and I'm enjoying it.

Hi, I made an ice/lightning a month or two ago, and I just passed up all my other characters it was so fun. Currently 160 and chugging along, though you're right, we're extinct. I helped form an all ice/lightning guild in YMCK, and even though we consist of almost every active i/l in the server we have about 10 members.
