Can We Talk About How Great Graffiti Is?

Jesus Christ yo, is there anything more entertaining and invigorating than seeing graffiti? I ain't talking about dopey murals or Banksy-type of stuff that tries to be all artistic and have legitimacy with intellectual snobs. I'm talkin' about the dirty, grimy stuff that is all about defacing property and not giving a rat's ass whether it's artistic or not. Be it just simple curse words, an elaborate signature or just at some outlandish location that stuff is so real. All about the rush of committing a crime, getting your tag out there and taking joy out of knowing others will see your work.

All about just getting wasted, making poor choices and reveling in the worst aspects in you. What's not to love? (srs)
I don't like graffiti regardless how well it's done. Its vandalism. Its defacing other people's property. If you want to show off your talent do it on your own property.
Lol vandalism and defacing property are key components of graffiti. Telling someone to do it on their own property is just asking for writing on the wall and missing the point.

lol
in middle school i was in a tagging crew. our intentions were just for kicks, but we took it kinda seriously after a while. we drew male genitals on everything and like two of our members got caught and expelled for it.

a lot of my friends are into tagging, and a few months ago i had to do graffiti cleaning as community service. it truly pained me to paint over the tags of my fellow comrades

where im from, i tend to see graffiti a lot. sometimes it looks stupid and other times its alright. it really depends on where its at. if its on a wall of a day care center, i dont like it. if its on a billboard, i just go on like normal.

One of my favorite activities is take a walk down Oakland and just soak in all the graffiti. It's extremely vibrant, especially in underpasses. Best ones are the ones down by the traintracks. People get creative but the essence is just the same.
