How long should I wait after this girl broke up with her bf?

I've been hanging out with this girl for a few months, and almost every day. I told her I liked her around a month back, but she said she liked someone else and was surprised because she thought I friendzoned her (I asked her to help me out with other girls before I liked her). She eventually started dating the guy she was talking to,and today they broke up because the guy cheated on her. We were hanging out with another friend, and she was venting to him about her exbf. She still seemed attached to him, so should I wait until after Valentine's day to make moves?

There's no time frame on forming a relationship with someone, it completely depends how she's feeling and how reciprocal and flirtatious she's being towards you.

Well it depends how attractive you are. This guy at my school who can get any girl he wants (pretty much) started dating this girl like a week after she got dumped by her 2-year LDR boyfriend.

when she doesn't check his social media, when she doesn't vent about him, when she doesn't want him back

she's looking for someone that doesn't have "friendzone' in their vocab.
