Evan PvP Guide

It seems I have broke the character limit...so please refer to my official guide page. This forum can still be used for commenting ect. http://www.basilmarket.com/show/guide/433
New PvP is all horrible and depends heavily on your funds. Unfortunately, I cannot be on maple until Winter Break. But Evan friends that has similar range to mine were able to hit cap, so I assumed I would be able to 1hko alot of people if I were to PvP. Sosososo broken. I hate it. Updated some skill changes, some cooldowns removed. Changed some tactics against other classes

[header]2. Introduction[/header]
Hi there! I'm MajesticViet, also known as Kenny. I guess I can consider myself successful in PVP. I usually get an average of 1.5k to 2.5k points. I also wanted to make this guide because I hate seeing other Evans getting crushed by others. In general, Evans aren't one of the best classes for PvPing :c . But we can get out of most situations with Blink and attack from afar with Flame Wheel for easy points etc. I'm not that much of a writer, but I'll try my best. Anyways, on to the guide
Warning: Wall of text.

[header]3. Skill descriptions and Growth[/header]
I'm only listing the skill descriptions for maxed levels. Evans should be able to max all their skills. If you can't, please do all your Evan job quests to get your required SP.
I'll be also using the battle attack formula for mages. 5 m.att= 1 b.att Although there has been no official confirmation of this, some people have tested it in PvP and found out Magic attack does matter in PvP while Weapon attack doesn't.

The following skills listed under this will not be explained because of its unavailability in PvP
Elemental Decrease, Soul Stone

CREDITS TO SUE FOR HELPING ME MAJORLY ON THIS GROWTH AND SKILL DESCRIPTIONS @Skyenets <3

3.1 How do growths exactly work?
Unlike any other class, an Evan grows. Actually, your dragon grows, but due to a weird occurence in your fate and for the fact that you tattood your hand, you are now linked in spirit with this dragon and therefore you grow as well. If that made no sense, worry not, it doesn't matter. In any case, your dragon grows in mind, strength and size. Your little cub dragon will soon be a large and full grown dragon. But how does this exactly work? Easy, at certain levels your dragon gets a new growth. Sometimes, not always, your dragon will also grow physically. In every growth however, he will receive new skills. Below I have provided a reference sheet as to when your dragon gets a new growth, which skills he receives, and when he grows physically.

Growth 1: Level 10 - 20
Skills: Dragon Missile and Dragon Soul.
Physically grown: (10) Egg > Stage 1.

Growth 2: Level 20 - 30
Skills: Teleport and Fire Circle.
Physically grown: (20) Stage 1 > 2.

Growth 3: Level 30 - 40
Skills: Lightning Bolt and Magic Guard.
Physically grown: None.

Growth 4: Level 40 - 50
Skills: High wisdom, Ice Breath and Spell Mastery.
Physically grown: None.

Growth 5: Level 50 - 60
Skills: Elemental Decrease, Magic Flare and Magic Shield.
Physically grown: (50) Stage 2 > 3.

Skills: Critical Magic, Dragon Blink, Dragon Thrust and Magic Booster.
Physically grown: None.

Growth 7: Level 80 - 100
Skills: Dragon Spark, Fire Breath, Killer Wings, Magic Amplification and Magic Resistance.
Physically grown: (80) Stage 3 > 4.

Growth 8: Level 100 - 120
Skills: Earthquake, Dragon Fury, Onyx Shroud, Phantom Imprint, Recovery Aura and Teleport Mastery.
Physically grown: None.

Growth 9: Level 120 - 160

Physically grown: (120) Stage 4 > 5. FINAL FORM.

Growth 10: Level 160 - 200

3.4 First growth of the dragon.
Starts at level 10, ends at level 20.
This is the point at which your dragon hatches. It'll be out of the egg and you will start off with a skill to attack with, and one that increases your damage and attacking speed. Overall, Dragon Soul will be the most important skill in the build as you will need it later on in the game.

[skill=Evan=Dragon-Soul]Dragon soul - Passive - Max Level: 20.
Description: Commune with your Dragon to increase Attack Speed, Magic ATT, Defense and Speed.
Skill effects
Level 20: Attack Speed +2, B.ATK +4,DEF +145, M.DEF +145.
PVP analysis: There should be no excuse of you not having this skill. It maximizes your attack speed in PvP which can be a huge help.

[skill=Evan=Magic-Missile]Magic Missile - Active - Max Level: 20.
Description: Continuously attacks the enemy by consuming MP.
Skill effects
Level 20: MP -18, Damage 144% x2
PVP analysis: This wouldn't be a good skill for any PVP modes.

3.5 Second growth of the dragon.
Starts at level 20, ends at level 30.
You now have a new attacking skill that also mobs. However, again this is not the most important skill in your growth. Teleport will be used throughout the game whilst Fire Circle will be ignored later on.

[skill=Evan=Fire-Circle]Fire Circle - Active - Max Level: 20.
Description: Shoots out a flame that attacks multiple enemies.
Skill effects
Level 20: MP -20, Damage 216%, Max Enemies Hit: 3.
PVP analysis: Impressive vertical and horizontal range in 30+ PVP. You can cast it far away from an enemy safely.

[skill=Evan=Teleport]Teleport - Active - Max Level: 20.
Description: Allows you to teleport a set distance to other locations on the same map using the arrow keys.
Skill effects
Level 20: MP -12, Range: 150
PVP analysis: Self Explanatory. It lets you travel faster, as well as the ability to telecast.

3.6 Third growth of the dragon.
Starts at level 30, ends at level 40.
Once again, Magic guard will be worth more than Lightning Bolt. Although lightning bolt is a nice new mobbing skill you will probably use a lot for now in LVL 30+ mode.

[skill=Evan=Lightning-Bolt]Lightning Bolt - Active - Max Level: 20.
Description: Drops thunderbolts upon your enemies. Max monsters hit: 8
Skill effects
Level 20: MP -28, Damage 347%, Max Enemies Hit: 3.
PVP analysis: A nice mobbing skill with a high vertical range which you can use to hit enemies higher than you.
[skill=Evan=Magic-Guard]Magic Guard - Active - Max Level: 20.
Description: Reduces damage dealt to you, and makes a portion of the damage affect your MP instead of your HP. If your MP reaches 0, your HP takes the full amount of damage.
Skill effects
Level 20: MP -30, Damage Taken: -10% , Damage Displaced: 40% of damage received, Duration: 600 sec
PVP analysis: You'll obviously need any type of defensive skill you have to survive in PvP. Magic guard, being the most important skill to buff is a must.

3.7 Fourth growth of the dragon.
Starts at level 40, ends at level 50.
Spell mastery and high wisdom increase your range and crit rates by a lot. Once again, these skill smatter most.

[skill=Evan=Ice-Breath]Ice Breath - Active - Max Level: 20.
Description: Gathers chilling ice energy to attack multiple enemies.
Skill effects
Level 20: MP -34, Damage 436%, Max Enemies Hit: 4, Freeze chance: 15% chance, Freeze Duration: 5 sec
PVP analysis: Now that the charge time is removed, it is made faster to cast at mobs, while slowing them down at a 15% chance. Another decent mobbing skill.

[skill=Evan=Spell-Mastery]Spell Mastery - Passive - Max Level: 10.
Description: Increases Magic Mastery, Magic Attack and Critical Rate.
Skill effects
Level 10: Magic Mastery: +50%, B.ATT+2, Critical Hit Rate: +10%
PVP analysis: Obviously increases your damage and critical rate. No reason not to max it~

[skill=Cleric=High-Wisdom]High Wisdom - Passive - Max Level: 10.
Description: Permanently increase INT through mental discipline.
Skill effects
Level 10: Permanently increase INT by 40
PVP analysis: More extra damage~

3.8 Fifth growth of the dragon.
Starts at level 50, ends at level 60.
Magic Flare will work as a mini genesis. This is the first growth in which the buffs are not that insanely worthwhile of prioritizing.

[skill=Evan=Magic-Flare]Magic Flare - Active - Max Level: 20.
Description: A pillar of light streams from the pentacle, surrounding enemies to inflict damage and paralyze for a short period of time.
Skill effects
Level 20: MP -34, Damage 419%, Stun Chance 5%, Duration: 1 sec.
PVP analysis: This will be your 1V1 skill in lvl 30+ mode. Try telecasting back and forth around the enemy and possibly stunning them.

[skill=Evan=Magic-Shield]Magic Shield - Active - Max Level: 10.
Description: Creates a protective shield that absorbs a fixed amount of damage received by party members for a set duration.
Skill effects
Level 10: MP -40, Damage Absorption: 10%, DEF +300, Max HP: 10%, Duration: 60 sec, Cooldown: 90 sec
PVP analysis: It has a slow casting speed, so try casting it while you're jumping down from the safe spot. A nice defensive skill just like magic guard.

3.9 Sixth growth of the dragon.
Starts at level 60, ends at level 80.
This is the first growth in which all skills are all important to you. This is the point where doing quests for skill points is important (which sucks because you'll have to follow the quest line, meaning that even though before you were able to ignore skill points from quests, you will now still have to get them).

[skill=Evan=Critical-Magic]Critical Magic - Passive - Max Level: 15.
Description: Increases your Critical Hit Rate and minimum Critical Damage.
Skill effects
Level 1: Crit Rate: +2%, Minimum Crit Damage: +1%
Level 10: Crit Rate: +20%, Minimum Crit Damage: +10%
Level 15: Crit Rate: +30%, Minimum Crit Damage: +15%
PVP analysis: Maxing it gives you a better chance of hitting an enemy with a fatal hit.

[skill=Evan=Dragon-Thrust]Dragon Thrust - Active - Max Level: 20. The 5 second cooldown is now removed c:
Description: A fierce dragon deals damage to enemies while knocking them back.
Skill effects
Level 20: MP -34, Damage: 79% x 3, Knock-back Chance: 65%, Max Enemies Hit: 4
PVP analysis: A rather fun skill used in all modes of PVP. It's especially useful when you and someone else are trying to get a buff on the ground by just pushing them back. If they're jumping in mid-air, casting it will send them fly through the air.

[skill=Evan=Magic-Booster]Magic Booster - Active - Max Level: 20.
Description: Consumes MP to increase magic attack speed by two steps for set duration.
Skill effects
Level 1: MP -76, Duration: 110 sec
Level 10: MP -58, Duration: 200 sec
Level 20: MP -38, Duration: 300 sec
PVP analysis: Another self-explanatory skill that boosts your attack speed in PVP.

[skill=Evan=Dragon-Blink]Dragon Blink - Active - Max Level: 10.
Description: Teleport to a random location of the map. The MP cost and cooldown time decreases as Skill level increases.
Skill effects
Level 10: MP -30, Cooldown: 10 sec
PVP analysis: Teleports you to a random location in the map. The best skill to escape out of sticky situations. Since it has a 10 second cooldown, use it wisely.

3.10 Seventh growth of the dragon.
Starts at level 80, ends at level 100.
Finally it's time for the good old Magic Amplification. You'll enjoy wasting your potions more than ever. However, it's worth it. Especially since it's only the start of your range increasing skills.

[skill=Evan=Magic-Amplification]Magic Amplification - Passive - Max Level: 15.
Description: Increases the MP cost and the Magic Attack of your magic skills.
Skill effects
Level 15: MP -130%; M.ATK 115%
PVP analysis: Another passive damage increasing skill~

[skill=Evan=Fire-Breath]Fire Breath - Active - Max Level: 20.
Description: Unleashes furious flames to attack and stun multiple monsters.
Skill effects
Level 20: MP -40, Damage: 645%, Max Enemies Hit: 4, Stun Chance: 5%, Stun Duration: 1 sec
PVP analysis: One of your main skills in both 70+ and 120+ PvP. This thing hits hard. Use it as often as possible. Charge time removed. Hits the same damage but at a much faster rate.

[skill=Evan=Killer-Wings]Killer Wings - Active - Max Level: 10.
Description: Brands an enemy with a Dragon seal. Your following attacks focus on that enemy, and the enemy takes damage over time.
Skill effects
Level 10: MP -35, Damage: 396%, Damage Over Time: 60% damage every second for 4 sec
PVP analysis: It has a long vertical and horizontal range to hit high enemies like Mercedes in the air. Trick with Wings: Try using Wings at an enemy then attack them until they have a really small amount of HP left. Once that happens, let the DoT effect kill them, but attack them at the same time. Basically, you can often get a double kill on one enemy with it.

[skill=Evan=Magic-Resistance]Magic resistance - Active - Max Level: 10.
Description: Temporarily increases the magic resistance and M.DEF for all party members nearby.
Skill effects
Level 10: MP -36, Magic Resistance: +10%, M.DEF +100, Duration: 150 sec
PVP analysis: Another defensive skill used against other mages' attacks.

[skill=Evan=Dragon-Spark]Dragon Spark - Passive - Max Level: 10.
Description: Grants a chance to deal additional damage after an attack.
Skill effects
Level 1: Chance: 4%, Damage: 155%
Level 5: Chance: 20%, Damage: 175%
Level 10: Chance: 40%, Damage: 200%
PVP analysis: If you plan to devote yourself to PvP, I suggest you get an SP reset and put no SP in this skill. It basically gives you a 2-3 second delay if Dragon Spark activates.

3.11 Eighth growth of the dragon.
Starts at level 100, ends at level 120.
This is where the big numbers really start rolling in. Dragon Fury will slap you in the face with a nice 20% m.atk extra, and Earthquake is just the general amount of awesome. Phantom Imprint also gives you additional damage to the selected enemy while Recovery Aura can heal you up to 50% HP.

[skill=Evan=Dragon-Fury]Dragon Fury - Passive - Max Level: 5.
Description: When your MP is within a certain range, the focus of the Dragon strengthens and your Magic Attack increases. This effect disappears once your MP is out of that range.
Skill effects
Level 5: M.ATK +20%, MP Range: 30% to 100%
PVP analysis: Awesome damage increasing skill that has a nice effect on mir:3

[skill=Evan=Earthquake]Earthquake - Active - Max Level: 20. The 5 second cooldown is now removed c:
Description: Violently shakes the ground, inflicting attacks on multiple enemies.
Skill effects
Level 20: MP -49, Damage: 563%, Cooldown: 5 sec.
PVP analysis: Another great skill to use that has a long vertical and horizontal range to hit more enemies. Use it as often as you can, especially in mobs.

[skill=Evan=Phantom-Imprint]Phantom Imprint - Active - Max Level: 10.
Description: Creates a pentacle that puts a curse on a target enemy. Cursed enemies temporarily take more damage.
Skill effects
Level 10: MP -40, Damage: 454%, Bonus Damage: 10% for 15 sec
PVP analysis: Grants an additional 10% damage on the enemy being affected for 15 seconds. Try using this often, especially at Paladins, Bishops or basically any hard to kill class to hit them more easily.

[skill=Evan=Recovery-Aura]Recovery Aura - Active - Max Level: 5. Sigh, new pvp removed hp recovery T-T
Description: Creates a recovery aura around you for a short time. The HP and MP of all party members within the aura will be continuously restored.
Skill effects
Level 5: HP -50, MP -50, 0% HP, 100% MP restored every 45 sec, Cooldown: 1 min
PVP analysis: With the new pvp update, recovery aura can no longer heal your hp. So there is now absolutely no way to heal there. You'll still lose alot of mp in there though. So just use aura when you're waiting for other people to spawn.

[skill=Evan=Onyx-Shroud]Onyx Shroud - Active - Max Level: 15.
Description: Temporarily increases Avoid rate for party members.
Skill effects
Level 20: MP -70, Duration: 180 sec, Avoid +20%
PVP analysis: Increasing your avoidability so you can dodge attacks a bit better helps~

[skill=Priest=Teleport-Mastery]Teleport Mastery - Active - Max Level: 10.
Description: When activated, 6 enemies at the teleport location will take damage and become Stunned. Also, permanently increases teleport distance.
Skill effects
Level 10: MP -20, Damage: 50%, Stun Chance: 5%, Stun Duration: 2 sec, Teleport Distance: +20
PVP analysis: Sure, it has a chance to stun, but it also slows you down a lot. I don't recommend using this either.

3.12 Ninth growth of the dragon.
Starts at level 120, ends at level 160.
Nearly done. Finally a good skill and finally the really great attacking skills come in. You have your final dragon and you can finally call yourself a 4th job kind of Evan.

[skill=Evan=Flame-Wheel]Flame Wheel - Active - Max Level: 30. This skill now has DoT in it c:
Description: Generates a wheel of flames that spirals into monsters in front of you, dealing Fire damage.
Skill effects
Level 30: MP -42, Damage: 210% x 3, Cooldown: 5 sec.
PVP analysis: This skill has a really long horizontal range. It can hit a mob of enemies from afar as well as enemies with low HP running away from you. The new PvP update added DoT c: Even though it's not much, a little extra damage doesn't hurt

[skill=Evan=Illusion]Illusion - Active - Max Level: 30.
Description: The Dragon's clone attacks a monster consecutive times. A portion of the enemy's defense will be ignored.
Skill effects
Level 30: MP -48, Damage: 178% x 4, Enemy DEF Ignored: 20%.
PVP analysis: This is your main 1v1 skill for 120+ PvP. Use it as often as you can. Scratch that, nearly ALL the time.

[skill=Evan=Heros-Will]Hero's Will - Active - Max Level: 5.
Description: By focusing your mind, you can ignore some abnormal status effects. However, this will not work on all abnormal status effects.
Skill effects
Level 1: MP -30, Cooldown: 600 sec
Level 2: MP -30, Cooldown: 540 sec
Level 3: MP -30, Cooldown: 480 sec
Level 4: MP -30, Cooldown: 420 sec
Level 5: MP -30, Cooldown: 360 sec
Level 6: MP -30, Cooldown: 300 sec
Level 7: MP -30, Cooldown: 240 sec
PVP analysis: I highly recommend getting this skill and using it. It cures almost all abnormal statuses except Doom, Monster Transform and Stun.

[skill=Evan=Magic-Mastery]Magic Mastery - Passive - Max Level: 30.
Description: Enhances Magic Mastery, Magic Attack, and Minimum Critical Damage. Passive Skill.
Skill effects
Level 30: Magic Mastery: +70%. B.ATK +6, Minimum Critical Damage +15%
PVP analysis: Another damage increasing skill~

[skill=Evan=Maple-Warrior]Maple Warrior - Active - Max Level: 30.
Description: For a duration of time, increases the stats of all party members by a certain percentage.
Skill effects
Level 1: MP -10; all stats +1% for 30 seconds
Level 10: MP -20; all stats +5% for 300 seconds
Level 20: MP -40; all stats +10% for 600 seconds
Level 30: MP -60; all stats +15% for 900 seconds
PVP analysis: 1% all stats = 1 Battle Attack. So try maxing it for 15 battle attack. Try casting this skill last when you're on a rope due to its slow animation.

3.13 Tenth growth of the dragon.
Starts at level 160.
DARK FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOG.DARK FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGDARK FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGDARK FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGDARK FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGDARK FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGDARK FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOG.

Ok.

[skill=Evan=Blessing-of-the-Onyx]Blessing of the Onyx - Active - Max Level: 25.
Description: Increases DEF, M.DEF and M.ATK.
Skill effects
Level 25: MP -80, DEF +550, M.DEF +550, B.ATK +7, Duration: 180 sec
PVP analysis: A defensive and damage increasing skill. Increases your sustainability and what not~

[skill=Evan=Dark-Fog]Dark Fog - Active - Max Level: 30.
Description: Creates a dark, chilly fog that attacks multiple enemies. Increases your critical rate.
Skill effects
Level 30: MP -600, Damage: 1194%, Crit Rate: +20%, Cooldown: 20 sec
PVP analysis: An Evan's best friend. Use it especially with a power fist buff. An ultimate that you can use while teleing away from danger. In other words, you can telecast fog

[skill=Evan=Blaze]Blaze - Active - Max Level: 30.
Description: Strike the target with 3 fire attacks for high damage and a chance to stun. A portion of enemy's defense will be ignored.
Skill effects
Level 30: MP -50, Damage: 227% x 3, Stun Chance: 5%, Stun Duration: 1 sec, DEF ignored: 35%
PVP analysis: Even though it's a stronger skill than Illusion in terms of damage, its range is horrible. You have to get really close for it to work on an enemy. I do not recommend using this.

[skill=Evan=Onyx-Will] Onyx Will - Active - Max Level: 20.
Description: Decreases a portion of received damage for a set period and, enables you to resist being knocked back when struck.
Skill effects
Level 20: MP -70, Damage Absorption: 10% for 240 sec, Knock-back Resistance Rate: 90%
PVP analysis: A defensive skill and a stance skill in one. It helps prevent you from getting knocked back or pulled by enemies.

4.1 First growth of the dragon.
Starts at level 10, ends at level 20.

10. +1 Magic Missile, +2 Dragon Soul.
Quest SP: +1 Dragon Soul.

18. +3 Magic Missile.
Quest SP: +1 Magic Missile.

19. +3 Magic Missile.
Quest SP: None.

20. +3 Magic Missile [ 20 ] [ MAX ].
Quest SP: None.

Explanation:
Not much explanation needed. You can actually switch them around if you feel like it. Ever since the beginning, the differences between the skills have not been huge enough to bother calculating it. However, I chose to max out Dragon Soul for the passive damage and speed boost. It's up to you, as long as you place one point in both of the skills at the start of your first growth.

4.2 Second growth of the dragon.
Starts at level 20, ends at level 30.

20. +1 Fire Circle, +2 Teleport.
Quest SP: +1 Teleport.

28. +3 Fire Circle.
Quest SP: +1 Fire Circle.

29. +3 Fire Circle.
Quest SP: None.

30. +3 Fire Circle.
Quest SP: None.

Explanation:
Again, not much explaning to do. You will want a new mobbing attacking skill, therefore one point in Fire Circle. Teleport will be needed for mobility, and you don't want to be potting every 2 seconds because you're MP has run out due to Teleport at level 1. So go for Teleport first.

4.3 Third growth of the dragon.
Starts at level 30, ends at level 40.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Magic Guard requires a Cash Shop Skill book, which will cost 2,000 NX. If you do not own enough NX, please continue with Lightning Bolt after Magic Guard is level 5.

Quest SP: None.

38. +3 Magic Guard.
Quest SP: None.

39. +3 Magic Guard.
Quest SP: None.

40. +3 Magic Guard.
Quest SP: None.

Explanation:
This all depends on how much HP you get from items, and how much you are willing to waste on potions. If you're in no need to be cautious about your money, feel free to waste it on pots and choose "The tank". Putting 1 point in to Magic Guard is not worth it, so I just left you without Magic Guard till you maxed out Lightning bolt. However if you're fairly poor, go for "The cautious". Like I stated before, you will have to cap Magic Guard at level 5 if you can't afford the NX book.

4.4 Fourth growth of the dragon.
Starts at level 40, ends at level 50.

40. +1 Ice Breath, +2 Spell Mastery.
Quest SP: None.

41. +3 Spell Mastery.

Quest SP: None.

48. +3 High Wisdom.
Quest SP: None.

49. +3 High Wisdom.
Quest SP: None.

50. +3 High Wisdom [ 10 ] [ MAX ].
Quest SP: None.

Explaination:
We add 1 point into Ice Breath because even at level 1, it's already stronger than Thunder Bolt by about 20-30%. After that we add into the passive damamge and critical damage booster for a higher damage output. You might choose to add in 1 point in High Wisdom for the 4 INT bonus early on, however I suggest you just leave that be till the other skills are maxed. This skill improves your damage the last as opposed to the other skills.

4.5 Fifth growth of the dragon.
Starts at level 50, ends at level 60.

50. +3 Magic Flare.
Quest SP: None.

51. +3 Magic Flare.

58. +3 Elemental decrease.
Quest SP: None.

59. +3 Elemental decrease.
Quest SP: None.

60. +3 Elemental decrease.
Quest SP: None.

Explaination:
Aside from your newly acquired spamable mini genesis, I have to inform you that this growth is rather boring. Just max out Magic Flare instantly and do whatever you want with Shield and Decrease. Switch them around if you need one more than the other. I personally went with Shield because it's useful in more situations than decrease. Chances are that you won't even be training on elemental strong monsters at level 50-60, so the extra defense comes in handy more. Above all, Flare is just a good attack that replaces all your previous ones.

4.6 Sixth growth of the dragon.
Starts at level 60, ends at level 80.

60. +1 Critical Magic, +1 Magic Booster, +1 Dragon Thrust.

78. +3 Magic Booster.
Quest SP: None.

79. +3 Magic Booster.
Quest SP: None.

80. +3 Magic Booster [ 20 ] [ MAX ].
Quest SP: None.

Explaination:
Ok, we're starting to get confusing now. There's more skills, more levels and less quests that give you SP. Worry not, you'll still get a crap load of quests thrown into your face at level 70 and level 80 (However level 80 quests count for the next growth). Let me explain what happens here. At level 60 we start out by adding 1 point into Critical Magic. It's not much, but it's still a tiny boost in your critical damage and chances. You might decide to entirely disregard this. it's up to you. One skill point wont hurt you though. We add in one point to Dragon thrust because it's fast. INSANELY fast. It's a great skill that rushes regular monsters and attacks 3 times on several monsters. You're going to be using this skill a lot. However we're not going to max it out right away.

First we start off with Magic Booster. I decided to put it to level 5, so that we have it maxed out without the NX mastery book. It gives the same amount of speed at any level, it's just annoying to recast it every single minute, so I thought it would be nice of me to leave you with 2 and a half minutes of Magic Booster, before having to recast.

Now we throw in mobility. I hate the cooldown on Dragon Blink, especially since it doesn't always place you where you want. Sometimes I end up blinking 5 times because I cannot stand the spot it brought me to. Having a cooldown in that case is annoying. Your damage is already pretty darned awesome disregard your attacking skill's level. You're overpowered, remember that. So mobility is more important than a high number that already caused you to one hit the monsters in fist place. Therefore we max out Dragon Blink straight away.

At this point, we max out Dragon thrust for obvious reasons. Like I said, a quick triple hitting multiple monsters hitting attack. It simply has priority before Critical Magic. Everything is straight forward from this point. We max out Critical magic before Magic Booster because of the damage boost, and because we already have level 5 Magic booster. As easy as that.

4.7 Seventh growth of the dragon.
Starts at level 80, ends at level 100.
After the 6th growth, you no longer receive any quests that grant you Skill Points. Therefore I will no longer include "Quest SP" in the builds.

Build 1: Let's screw over Fire Breath
80. +5 Magic Amplification.
81. +3 Magic Amplification.
82. +3 Magic Amplification.
83. +3 Magic Amplification.
84. +1 Magic Amplification [ 15 ] [ MAX ], +1 Killer Wings, +1 Fire Breath.

92. +3 Killer Wings.
93. +3 Killer Wings.
94. +1 Killer Wings. [ 10 ] [ MAX ], +2 Magic Resistance.
95. +3 Magic Resistance.
96. +3 Magic Resistance.
97. +3 Magic Resistance.
98. +3 Magic Resistance.
99. +1 Magic Resistance. [ 15 ] [ MAX ], +2 Dragon Spark
100. +3 Dragon Spark

Explaination:
Whatever we do, let's first start of with the good old "Range and damage boosters BEFORE attacks because it affects all your skills" argument. For that reasoning, we go with Magic amplification before anything else. I'd personally ignore Fire Breath till Magic Amplification at the least is maxed out. Don't even add any points to Dragon Spark if you PVP alot, otherwise add SP to it for last. Killer Wings for extra range while Magic Resistance for the extra defense.

4.8 Eighth growth of the dragon.
Starts at level 100, ends at level 120.

100. +1 Teleport Mastery, +1 Earthquake, +3 Dragon Fury.
101. +2 Dragon Fury [ 5 ] [ MAX ], +1 Earthquake.

118. +3 Phantom Imprint.
119. +1 Phantom Imprint [ 10 ] [ MAX ], +2 Recovery Aura.
120. +3 Recovery Aura [ 5 ] [ MAX ].

Explanation:
Earthquake is your first skill that covers the front AS WELL as the back. You need one point in this before you max out Dragon Fury. Dragon Fury, I am not even going to start about the whole damage range increase before whatever argument. Just do it. Earthquake for reasons stated earlier. You can still follow the same build but just don't activate Teleport Mastery due to its delay in PVP.

4.9 Ninth growth of the dragon.
Starts at level 120, ends at level 160.

158. +3 Maple Warrior.
159. +2 Maple warrior [ 30 ] [ MAX ], +1 Hero's will [ 2 ].
160. +2 Hero's will [ 5 ] [ MAX ].

Explanation:
Magic Mastery, I'm not going to nag this again. Go for it. Straight forward build. No need for much explaining. You either go for Flame wheel or Illusion after you have maxed Magic Mastery.

[header]5. What to do as an Evan in PvP 30+[/header]
I recommend magic flare for the lv 30 one I did that on my old Evan and trust me it's a life saver you can spam it <3
I'm making a new Evan so I can find out what to do in PvP.

@kb24pwnage For low levels, fire circle has an amazing vertical range so it's good for sniping from below or on top.

[header]6.What to do as an Evan in PvP 70+[/header]
My evan's only lvl 100, but I usually get 2nd place in a round, even with those nasty little demonslayers running around. Admittedly, I do have a full Larson set, but here's how I fight:
In a 1v1 situation, use flare. This allows you to telecast and remain extremely mobile. Keep teleporting to the guy's other side. Try and learn what type of fighter the other guy is. If they're a spammer, it means they're not likely to turn around soon, so just spam away until you seem them stop attacking (it means they're about to turn around). That's when you teleport to the other side and begin flaring again. If, on the other hand, it seems like the guy has the tendency to try turning around a lot, then just teleport back and forth in the hope you dodge some hits (if you wait for the guy to turn around on your screen, you will take every hit thanks to the fact that the animation is slower than the attack commands).

In a 1v1 situation against a demon slayer, your attack pattern will depend no the other guy's choice of attacks. If they're using that spammy 1-direction attack that looks like they've got a machine gun and are shooting something (Sorry, I have no idea what demonslayer attacks are, because I refuse to make one), use the flanking flare tactic. If, however, they decide to switch to their annoying AoE attack with the skull spraying smoke or w/e everywhere, back out of their range and begin using fire strike. Your flare's range is less than the AoE attack's, but your fire strike's range just beats the AoE, so go take the sniping route. The only exception I'd say to doing this would be if the demonslayer looks close to death (like 1 or 2 flares will finish him/her off). In that case, just tank and flare so that you don't lose the kill to someone else.

This bring me to another point: pay attention to your opponents' colors. If they start glowing (red for warriors, green for archers, purple for thieves, blue for mages, and yellow for pirates), it generally means they're close to death. Target them. A kill is worth a lot more than a normal attack, so chase those half-dead people and murder them before they can heal. If it's a mobile class with some kind of jumping skill (includes mercs, archers, and thieves with fj), then you'll need to fire strike them once you get kind of close. If they're a mage/warrior, however, you can go with the telecasting/flare thing.

In terms of power-ups, always pick up the fists if you see them. They're your best shot at getting points. Even if you already have a fist power-up, pick up any others you see so that your opponents don't get the chance to. If they get a fist, you're probably going to die, since evans have terrible tanking power. The exception is if you're in a room filled to the brim with noobies who don't understand the power of the fist and therefore never pick them up. Pick up shields and shoes, too. They're not that helpful, but if they're next to you, might as well loot them. Obviously, pick up red and purple hearts the moment you see them, both to heal yourself and to keep your opponents from healing (if they don't heal, that means they're gonna die faster...hopefully by your hands ) Avoid mystery boxes unless it you're on the brink of death. On one hand, they offer some nice buffs and curses, on the other hand, they can transform you into a random monster. A monster transform = ick, b/c you spend a lot of time not being able to attack. As for deciding whether to suicide or wait out the monster transform, I'd say choose based on the availability of mystery boxes on the field. A lot of boxes = go on a looting spree. You may get invincible, which will let you survive the monster term, heals, and even increase score boxes. Of course, you may get more monster transform boxes, but w/e. If there are only like 2 boxes on the field, tho, you may wanna consider suicide, especially if you're at 1/3 hp or less.

Flare is best when combine with teleport in order to flank opponents and avoid their attacks. Pick up power-ups but avoid mystery boxes. Target low-hp people. I don't really know if the 8th growth skills really help since I only just reached it, but so far it feels like fire strike and flare are good enough attacks (though maybe switch out flare for phantom imprint if your PI is maxed?...the stun from flare is pretty nice, tho...stunned opponents = dead opponents...maybe flare until you get a stun then use PI? I dunno...)
[header]7. What to do as an Evan in PvP 120+[/header]
Main offensive skills you would use: Illusion, Flame Wheel, Earthquake, Fire Breath.
Often used: Killer Wings and Dragon Thrust.
Active buffs: All of them.
For buffing, I arranged all of the skills into three macros. Try buffing on a rope too because Evan's buffing speed is really slow compared to most classes.
1st Macro: Magic Guard, Magic Booster, Onyx Shroud
2nd Macro: Blessing of the Onyx, Maple Warrior.
3rd Macro: Onyx Will, Magic Resistance
If you think your over buffing, just use Magic Guard, booster and Maple Warrior.
Like I said, in the skill descriptions, I recommend spamming telecast illusion around an enemy. Earthquake and Flamewheel if there's a mob or an enemy running away. Fire Breath sniping is also great for not only 70+ PvP, but for 120+ PvP as well!
The main trick with using Evans is keeping track of the cooldowns. Flame Wheel, Earthquake and Thrust all have a 5 second cooldown in PvP, which might slip you up in certain conditions. The best way to use those skills is just use them as early as you can: Flame Wheel is great for sniping mobs, Earthquake is great for mobs surrounding you, or people going up a rope/ladder, and Thrust is best for messing up people sniping at you, or attempting to pick up a buff.

After that, you have 3 options to rely on. Illusion is always your best bet for any 1 v 1 situation, while Phantom Imprint lays the beatdown on tanks which attempt to wall you. 10%+ dmg makes all the difference in keeping yourself alive, as well as keeping certain people under check combined with Killer Wings. Then you have Fire Breath (must charge completely in all cases!) to destroy mobs or snipe enemies from platforms above you. You MUST use the breath for mobs, unless you want to pick off the staggering targets with Illusion. Then after you use these moves for a bit, remember to use the cooldown moves.

But overall, remember that an Evan is a jack-of-all-trades character. They can perform very good in many situations, but you must acknowledge that you will be outclassed in whatever you attempt to do. They have skills mitigate dmg inflicted on them, but will still fall to many walls such as Paladins and BaMs. They can be very offensively oriented, but will trip over from brute force hitters such as Heroes, Shadowers and Demon Slayers. The speed from Illusion is amazing, and Evans can tele cast, but still can't hit or outspeed speedy targets very well like Mercs and NL's. Thus, Evans will have to play a rock-paper-scissors game in pummeling what the opponent doesn't do very well; outspeed warriors and thieves, or attempt to destroy archers and mages in a single hit. Still, there's many weapons to an Evan's disposal, and using the correct one for any situation will drastically up your fighting game.

On your keyboard you can change your quickslots so you can see what's on cooldown. I would recommend you to put the most common skill you would use that would be on cooldown on the quickslots so you can quickly see what you can use rather than using it and seeing that you can't use it. This would be recommended with any PvPer.
@jhon221 hmmm it seems that if you mark a thief with killer wings and they go in dark sight and they are still mark, seems you can hit them while they are in dark sight only if they are still mark by killer wings.
also i'd like to add in that fire breath seems to be the main mobbing skill for 70+ and 120+. It completely destroys everyone. I kill faster with fire breath than I do illusion.
@kb24pwnage Dragon thust is good for avoiding Merc because they're always in mid air do it'll sending them flying away. This can also be used for avoiding any class while they're in midair. Stay away from drk until after they use dragon roar, monster magnet, and rush.
Anyone running away likely has low health so snipe them with fw or just use earthquake.
Use arua in spots where people tend to be when you're waiting for them to come down. Ex, in the pink bean map place it in the centre.

Team Matches 120+

@kb24pwnage This doesnt help much because no one does Tdm but I'll say it anyways. In maps like the lhc one with lava, dragon thrust them into the lava and wait at the rope. As soon as they get up, attack them and push them back into the lava. When they're about to die, jump into the lava, kill them, and blink away.
When theres a mob ds usually use that skill where there's a demon that breaths little dark orbs or whatever. Stay away from the ds to avoid the skill. When the health of the mobs is low use fw to ks the mobs while avoiding the ds. Also, ds will usually have little fury left after they do this so this is also a good. Hance to finish them off as well.
Idk if this is just me but my illusion hits twice before it has a small delay. What I usually do when spamming is I use illusion twice and then I use a fire breath. So basically, illusion->illusion->fire breath->illusion->illusion->fire breath etc (still use fw and earthquake when the cd is over)

Paladins: Really high defense. I suggest using Phantom Imprint and Killer Wings on them to give you 10% bonus damage and some DoT. Try telecasting Illusion on the paladin's side so they can't hit you as often. With their new monster magnet..they can annoy us with their stun too, just like Dark knights. With the new pvp update, any high funded damagers that hits classes with some kind of damage reflect skill will return massive damage to you. Paladins are able to reflect 24% damage back to you. I didn't get a confirmation from my warrior friends yet but looking at the extractions, it say Magic Crash has a 5 second cooldown and works at a 60% chance. This can be quite annoying, but don't worry just yet before I can confirm it..

Heroes: Their power guard and shout is extremely annoying, as it reflects an amount of damage back to you. Overall, their defense are not as good as Paladins so just spam Illusion and your other main cooldown attacks on them. With the new pvp update, any high funded damagers that hits classes with some kind of damage reflect skill will return massive damage to you. Heroes are able to reflect 100% damage back to you. I didn't get a confirmation from my warrior friends yet but looking at the extractions, it say Magic Crash has a 5 second cooldown and works at a 60% chance. This can be quite annoying, but don't worry just yet before I can confirm it..

Dark Knights: Their new stun rate from Dragon roar is annoying now as well as their Dark Impale doing high damage to you every hit. Like paladins, use imprint and spam your main attacks on them.With the new pvp update, any high funded damagers that hits classes with some kind of damage reflect skill will return massive damage to you. Dark Knights are able to reflect 100% damage back to you. I didn't get a confirmation from my warrior friends yet but looking at the extractions, it say Magic Crash has a 5 second cooldown and works at a 60% chance. This can be quite annoying, but don't worry just yet before I can confirm it..

Arans: Be careful of their Combo Tempest. It can hit almost the whole map and dealing a huge amount of damage to you and slowing you down for a few seconds. In 1V1 combat, you shouldn't have a tough time hitting them if you just telecast around them so they can't use their combos efficiently. They have the lowest defense out of all warriors too.

Demon Slayers: You can call yourself lucky for being a mage and not having to deal with their Demon cry skill that decreases your accuracy, but it still lowers your attack and defense nonetheless. Their Vengeance is also irritating, reflecting damage back at you. They seem somewhat squishy though compared to other warriors. With the new pvp update, any high funded damagers that hits classes with some kind of damage reflect skill will return massive damage to you. Demon Slayers are able to reflect 100% damage back to you.

Mihile: A pretty new and tough class in PvP. Radian buster has an amazing horizontal range that is almost as long as Flame wheel and spammable. I didn't get a confirmation from my warrior friends yet but looking at the extractions, it say Magic Crash has a 5 second cooldown and works at a 60% chance. This can be quite annoying, but don't worry just yet before I can confirm it..

Mages

Battle Mages: Just don't get near them when they're on invincibility mode. I'd just wait it out and charge at them as soon as their invincibility goes down. As for their chains, they can be easily dodged by jumping over it. If you get caught while jumping, you would just get pulled to the other side of the map to avoid them. New PvP update glitch for them, BEWARE. Their Twister Spin is glitched into draining every single bit of your mp in less than 5 hits. Even if their damage is low, this glitch makes your MP deplete at a tremendous amount. Thankfully, they have a difficult time teleporting with it at the moment, so just run away when they're using twister.

F/P Archmages: Try to avoid their poison mist at all times and not get inside it. Their DoT are also deadly over time. I'd recommend just spamming illusion and telecasting them. They can also seal you at a 55% chance for 4 seconds.

I/L Archmages: They have alot of moves that slows you down. Glacier Chain also stuns you temporarily. If you practice jumping, you can dodge their chains often or just get chained to the other side of the map to escape. They also have a 55% chance to seal you for 4 seconds.

Bishops: High defense, supportive and heavy attack skills. Their Dispel and Doom skills are one of the hardest things you'll have to deal with, rebuffing and running away when you're snailed. If you're in a map with hazards (the fire thing from the ground) it dispels your snail form as well as DB's Final Cut skill. Big Bang also dishes out a huge amount of damage when fully charged. They have a small invincibility move that guards up to 5 attacks. Imprint and Killer wings them to deal extra damage to them and just telecast around them. Update: You no longer have to fear of being doomed because the doom chance is only 5% now c: Dispel chance was nerfed to 70% with a 10 second cooldown and Heal now has a 30 second cooldown instead of 15 seconds, so they won't be as tanky

Bowmen

Mercedes: They have excellent mobility and avoid. Earthquake should be able to catch them when they're on top of you. Killer Wings is another option too. If you can time and locate where and when they'll fall to, cast illusion on them.

Bowmaster: They're not the best class in PvP and really squishy. You should not really have a problem with killing them. But their new Arrow rain skill has a ridiculous 20% chance to stun for one second, so be careful about that. You can also hit their puppet for extra points~

Marksman: Their Snipe skill does heavy damage against you and so does their main skill "Ultimate Strafe". I'd recommend attacking and jumping around them since their skills don't really have much vertical range. They can be very sneaky by using piercing arrow from afar into busy mobs. Flame wheel should catch them easily. Arrow Eruption is also very annoying now that it has a 20% chance to seal you for 4 seconds. Hit their puppet for extra points too~

Wild Hunters: You would barely see any of them in PvP, not to be mean to them or anything but they're one of the worst class at the moment in PvP. Squishy and low damage attacks. Their mount lag could be one of their deadliest skill : P

Pirates

Cannoneers: That counter. Be careful when you go against Cannoneers as they can reflect back your damage at a 35% rate and not get hurt. Monkey Madness can also deal huge amounts of damage like F/P's Mist Explosion and has a chance to stun too. Monkey Militia and Anchors away are also powerful summons that hits at a quick rate against you. They can also stun you too. Update: Their counter crush has been nerfed to 8% in pvp but their 4th job counter skill still remains 15%. All together is 23% chance of counter now. Cannon Bazooka is also a frightening skill now that it can hit 4 times with a horizontal range similar to Flame wheel, it has a 5 second cooldown, luckily.

Corsair: Another squishy class that shouldn't be really threatening to you. Their Air strike ultimate does a decent amount of damage though. If you have mount lag, going against them will be tough. Update: Air Strike is removed and replaced with Nautilius ship ultimate. You won't have to worry about mount lag now that their mount is removed. Their rapid fire and new mob skill can hit a pretty decent amount but they're still pretty squishy. Kill them quickly~ They've improved alot.

Buccaneer: A rather slow class that takes a lot of control to be good in PvP. They have medium-high damage attacks but really slow. Their snatch and demolition should be the skills you have to watch out for. Once they get out of their demolition invincibility, just spam Illusion on them. Like corsairs, they've improved alot too. Buccaneers now has long ranged skills such as their laser skill and 1v1 skill octopunch. Their passive heal skill can also recover 8% hp and mp every 4 seconds.

Mechanics: They have a lot of summons that can hurt you alot as well as their damage reflect skill. They can also summons bots that heals their HP and amplifies their damage by 15%. Laser and siege mode can also deal high amounts of damage but doesn't have much vertical range. Just do jump attacks or telecasting around them with Illusion etc. With the new pvp update, any high funded damagers that hits classes with some kind of damage reflect skill will return massive damage to you. Mechanics are able to reflect 100% damage back to you.

Thieves
Phantoms: That Mille Aguilies skill...so so annoying knocking you back at tremendous speed. They can also steal defensive skills such as Heal and Smokescreen to survive longer. Be very careful of them. I'll add more info on this later.

Night Lords: They're not very popular in PvP. Semi high damage attacks such as triple throw. Their Dark flare skill seems to have the highest amount of damage reflected. They're pretty mobile around PvP with their speed and flash jump. Dark sight is also irritating at times when you're about to kill them. Just spam skills at them quickly since they're also pretty squishy. If you mark a thief with killer wings and they go in dark sight and they are still mark, seems you can hit them while they are in dark sight only if they are still mark by killer wings. With the new pvp update, any high funded damagers that hits classes with some kind of damage reflect skill will return massive damage to you. Night lords are able to reflect a whopping 240% damage back to you.

Shadowers: Similar to Night Lords, they also have high speed and a Dark Flare skill too. Boomerang Step deals high amount of damage, has a nice horizontal range and can stun you at a small chance. Their smokescreen is really annoying when you're about to kill them. Killer wings them immediately to deal some DoT while they're in smoke and just go fight other mobs while waiting for it to go away. They're also pretty squishy like night lords, so killing them shouldn't be that much of a problem either.If you mark a thief with killer wings and they go in dark sight and they are still mark, seems you can hit them while they are in dark sight only if they are still mark by killer wings.With the new pvp update, any high funded damagers that hits classes with some kind of damage reflect skill will return massive damage to you. Shadowers are able to reflect a whopping 240% damage back to you.

Dual Bladers: High speed, avoidablity and dark sight just like any other thief class. They have lots of rushing and pulling abilities that deals high damage to you. If you see them in dark sight, they would usually chains of hell right after that, so just Dragon Blink away when they're about to chain you. Final Cut is also easy to dodge by just teleporting behind them when you see them start charging it. Another squishy class that shouldn't take long to kill if you just spam illusion. If you mark a thief with killer wings and they go in dark sight and they are still mark, seems you can hit them while they are in dark sight only if they are still mark by killer wings.

[header]9. PvP Maps[/header]
These maps seems to been removed and replaced with the snowy pvp map only. I'll keep these maps on the guide for EMS players to use

Strange Knights Chamber

A great map for Evans since our Dark Fog can hit all 3 platforms. Flame Wheel is also useful here with its huge horizontal range on the flat platforms. Earthquake and Fire Breath are especially great from the lowest platform when you're trying to hit the platform on top of you. Charge Fire Breath, jump, then release it on other enemies. Earthquake can reach the top platform without the need to jump. There are trampolines here where you can charge Fire Breath and release it as you jump. Overall, this is the best map for Evans.

Free Market

This map is almost the same as the Strange Knight's Chamber. Just use the same tactics as you do as above. There are trampolines here where you can charge Fire Breath and release it as you jump.

Pink Bean's Party

Another decent map. Flame Wheel is really useful here because of the huge flat platform at the bottom. Dark Fog is useful on the two sides of the map.

Nihal Dessert

It's an okay map for Evans. Flame Wheel can still be useful for the top and bottom platforms. There are trampolines here where you can charge Fire Breath and release it as you jump.

Gold Richie Map

Once again, another great map for Evans. Dark Fog, believe it or not, can reach from the bottom to top. Flame Wheel is also a great sniping skill on this map: You can hit a mob of enemies from the other side. There are trampolines here where you can charge Fire Breath and release it as you jump.

[header]9.1 New PvP map for GMS[/header]

Our new PvP update now only has one map, which is pretty boring and small. It's nearly the exact same map as the Snowy Von Leon Team Match map. There is no lava in this map and no top left and right corner platforms. There are now 4 platforms which you spawn in. As soon as you respawn, you will only have 2 seconds of invincibility instead of 5 seconds like the old pvp. That is especially tough for us since we cast horribly slow. So get a rope asap and buff up.

I'm sad about not being able to heal hp at all in pvp now then..On the other hand yay DoT <3 Even though it's really low.
I think it's for the medal only

We're still unsure about the dragon spark lag until the new PvP comes. If you have the right amount of potential then yes, it would be way better than using the pvp set(I don't know how much you need to overpass the set though)

It's a shame that PVP is removed.
This guide won't be famous for a while...
Updated at Sept 11: News of the new PvP coming~ The video shows spammable earthquake...so that means GMS didn't get the latest new pvp skill changes. If that's true, Flame wheel would be spammable too <3
hmmm

When u see a db charging final cut ----> Dragon blink. I find jumping over it fails me half the time.

I thought i might say too that I feel like I spend alot of time buffing, and therefore wasting that nice 5 seconds of i frames after I die. What macros do people actually use in PvP?
Instead of trying to jump over Final Cut, tele behind the dual blade
If I'm in a PvP map with a rope in the top, I would go on it and use all my buffs. In other maps like the FM, I would jump down while using MG and booster only.
@XVi3tX: Why are you talking about attack speed? You're an evan....you'd hit speed cap anyway
Although Illusion, EQ and Flame wheel can still hit the same speed with an Eligos Staff. Killer Wings and possibly PI seems to be slower with the staff. It accidentally happened when I was using my E.wand(same slow speed as a staff) in PvP instead of Eligos Wand. Outside PvP, those two skills has the longest delays. I do still notice a small difference while using those two skills. But then again, don't tale my word for it since I might not have notice Dragon Spark possibly taking effect.
@solarium I tend to go to the Dark Hennesy place to mine purple veins. @chickenlady knows the best places to mine these kinds of things though.
Edit: Since attack speed might matter for wings and imprint, it shouldn't matter that much since you wouldn't spam those skills anyways. Your wand is good enough as it is.

@XVi3tX Roger that,Viet. Good places to find purple veins?

Btw, as @chickenlady said, why are you talking about attack speed? I thought it didnt matter for an Evan (read someone where before that attack speed gonna be the same), so i have been using my orb of fire wand (lv 130 fire one) all the way. <3

@solarium: You made an amazing deal for those shoes But I don't recommend buying any PvP gear that exceeds 100-150m or so.
Don't get an Eligos Staff~ Unlike outside PvP, Attack speed on weapons matters. It took me 3-4 months to finally master PvP and getting all my gears P:
To save money, start mining purple veins since you'll need Wisdoms, Luks and Lidiums. Start doing pqs or extract any lvl 100+ equips that you don't need for a chance of Superior crystals.

@chickenlady Oh, right. -deletes- Do they just spam fire breath and earthquake in 70+ now or what? :c I still kept your magic flare and Phantom imprint part in the guide.
@uphailure @kb24pwnage Get an SP* reset scroll (not ap) If you're dedicated to PvP, don't put any points in dragon spark.
@solarium I wish Ice knight was active in GMS...You should try facing the "pros" in FFA then and practice on them
@solarium fire breath is your main move for mobs. Illusion is your main move for 1v1. BUT depending on the situations that are shown in the guide, you may want to use other skills as well. Also, use earthquake and flame wheel as much as you can.

@uphailure I don't think you can prevent the dragon spark unless you get an ap reset and takes all your points out of it
@kb24pwnage illusion unfortunately has a delay in ik, spammin fw/eq gives only ~5 points instead of fire breath which has a chance to hit ~12/13.
@solarium basically follow the guide instead of spamming fire breath . Also like @XVi3tX said, FFA is much faster. If you really want the rising sun set fast but you can't afford to buy it, just farm the gallant emblems. Btw, how do you get enough people for ice knight o.o
In Msea, ik is a more popular means to farm emblems. FFA is either always empty or overrun with pros who already have many pvp equips.

Also, the guide is more suited for FFA as it is more versatile. Assuming the ik stays put, i just need the most points per hit...Just wondering if there's a better move than fire breath.

Ice Knight doesn't get you a lot of points compared to FFA. You can still continue spamming fire breath, but start using illusion more often and cooldown moves (Earthquake and Flamehweel) Put one point in dark fog too~

I used to be really good until the revamp (when CTF came) and now I really suck, I'm always at the bottom of rankings.

I don't know if it's lag or delay but whenever I try to attack, it lags for about a second before anything happens, which is a great chance for me to get killed before I even attack.

Your Dragon Spark probably got activated when you attacked, which doesn't let you attack while it's in effect. Usually gives you 2-3 second lag or so.

I honestly think that Evans are one of the best against cannoneers. I have a cannon myself and find that, even with full rs, evans are REALLY bulky and attack quite fast. Especially with illusion. If you're pro, I don't think cannoneers will be much of a problem like we are to quite a lot of people.

@blue Considering you'll be pvping most of the time, you made the perfect choice. Sadly for me, I go bossing too and that extra 800k spark is needed :c
Thanks to a Broan Evan Pvper for mentioning it, recovery aura does heal hp It just doesn't state that in the skill description while you're in PvP.
The most useful thing ever!

What I do when I'm against one person in PvP is I Illusion and tele back and forth in front and behind the person while they're trying to attack me, it's evasive and it does the job for me. ^_^ Then I mist and hope on one comes down to kill me.

lolol I can't quote you because your Basil ID has that "word" in it.
Some changes weren't implemented into battle mode, just as nexon stated, such as % damage, DoT, aura recovery ect. :c
