What were your favorite titles during the summer season?

Below are my opinions on the titles I watched for summer 2012. If you don't care, don't read it; feel free to share your thoughts, though.

well i just went through that entire Summer 2012 image and couldn't find anything that made me regret missing that season. not counting movies, since i'm liking the Berzerk adaptations.

Star Driver, Hunter x Hunter, and Titan Rain movies all look interesting too
only thing that caught my attention is kizumonogatari
as for my favorite series this season..? It's probably SAO, but again this season is absolutely terrible. I expected a lot more from K, robotics;notes, code breaker, and little busters, but it's really been lackluster. I've been really tuning out this season except for SAO just to keep up with what everyone else is talking about.
I think theyre animating the next season of the monogatari series but im not sure when. if it's winter, ill be looking forward to it.

Yeah, I found it interesting. You also said that Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun is iffy, but I actually like it.
I know the romance is faster than SAO, but the character development... In just two episodes is pretty amazing.
Ot: magi, Tonari no kaibutsu-kun, chuunibyo
I tried out little busters, but then it turned out to be a baseball thingy, so I was kinda iffy.
I don't think ill watch it right away. I'll wait until it's completed.
I think Tsuritama mighta been spring/early summer but that one was really good

I'll post some of my opinions of a few I watched from last and some from this season.
Accel World:
I admit, I didn't watch it at first because of the fat protagonist but I got interested in it and finally caved in after seeing screenshots of it on /a/. Pretty much one of my favorites from last season. It's a lot better better compared to SAO (yes, I know it's the same author).
Campione:
This was terrible. I seriously wished I had dropped this early on. Sure the girls were pretty good but aside from that, the story made me cringe. I don't think anything in it was accurate at all, I took Classical Literature so I can at least confirm that most of the stuff about Athena and Medusa are completely wrong.
Yuru Yuri:
I was pretty hyped up for it along with /a/ before it started airing and wasn't dissapointed either. Half the fun was the threads on /a/ after each episode.
SAO:
I think a lot of you already know how I feel about this.
Ebiten:
Seitokai rip-off. Mediocre at best, only reason I watched it was because I enjoyed SnI.
Jinrui:
Surprisingly good. One of the few animes I really enjoyed with a female MC.
Chuunibyou:
It's brutal to watch but I like it so far. I'm just hoping it doesn't go full harem halfway in.
Onii ai:
Holy crap this is bad. Only redeeming quality is that Akiko's VA is 14 years old.
There's more but I can't really be bothered to type everything out.
I've picked up 19 series this season. I wonder if I should make it an even twenty. Is there anything that hasn't aired yet?
3 episodes in, and Shinsekai Yori has already become one of my all time favourites. Here's hoping it can keep things up and continue to impress.
Kokoro Connect... I tried watching it. I got sick of it in the fourth episode, then skipped to the part where that the heartseed (troll) makes the girl jumps off the bridge, and then I just dropped it. I can't stand drama.
looking forward Chihayafuru S2, and Hanasaku Iroha movie (probably won't be as good as the series, but i'll watch anyways)
Minami-ke was mildly entertaining. might watch it because the main character is voiced by Chihara.
Just found an anime that nexon has a connection to and that really surprise me.

Not really familiar with Higurashi. Shinsekai Yori takes place a millenium from now, when people have the power to manipulate things with their mind (telekinesis). The kids go to school to learn how to use their telekinesis. There's some sinister and mysterious beings overlooking the education system, and they "eliminate" (for the lack of a better word) students who aren't any good at using telekinesis. The grown-ups seem to know what's wrong with the society they're living in, but don't have the power to do anything; Saki (one of the 5 main characters) is beginning to get suspicious.
The first episode of Shinsekai Yori met my high expectations (I'm glad I checked it out on a whim). Hopefully it isn't downhill from here.

I loved Jinrui, too; it's just that the animation quality is way too low. The two episodes Watashi and Y spent in those manga panels was just screaming "WE ARE TITE KUBO BLEACH THE HEART" status.

I agree with the assessment of Space Brothers and Sword Art Online. Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashiita is my favourite Summer 2012 title because I don't mind it being out of order and love the art and color. (I'm not counting Hunter X Hunter, but it's the only long-running title I've been following since Gintama's absence and it's always a fun watch so it's worth the mention.)

It's a bad harem, but it's watchable. It's kind-of like a downgraded version of Mashiro Iro Symphony.
