I could've sworn a general surgery residency is 4 years + with a plastic fellowship being ~3 years.
I "mouth breathed" exclusively all throughout childhood, leaving me with an underdeveloped maxilla and face that grew downward instead of outward. I dropped out of middle school due to pretty intense bullying and underwent homeschooling. At age 15 I underwent maxillary osteotomy @ my GPs suggestions. It totally changed my appearance, and quite frankly my life. I've been hugely interested in aesthetics since then.

After getting my GED @ age 16, I spent 11 more years in school and am finally working under a very talented max fac surgeon

First year of med school was the hardest part no doubt haha.
That's completely different from suggesting someone plastic surgery because they're ugly though.

EDIT: If you got your GED at 16, how long did you spend in college undergraduate?

This guy is BS. If he really is 28 like he says he is, he should still be studying in medical school and I HIGHLY doubt he would be allowed to perform on patients at that young of an age and that less of an experience. He's probably a plastic surgeon assistant at best or is some teenager who just wants attention.

somebody give me a person to rate. I will give a full critique and suggest cosmetic surgeries.
Sorry but if someone gets a surgery because someone else suggested it, that's just plain ass stupid. Suggesting such things are terrible in general. "Hey you look hideous, you need surgery because naturally you will never be beautiful". Biggest slap in someone's face ever.

Not saying I'm against plastic surgery or anything. I don't really feel the need to get anything done. Maybe straighten out my nose but the little bump isn't that noticeable. Wouldn't waste money on that. But I would understand it if someone wanted it themselves. The whole suggestion thing is just kind of gross to me.
do men prefer fake boobs or real? what is the most common size boob implants requested by clients?
Interestingly enough, fake! There is a threshold of course, but in general, the bigger the better! (Don't expect men to tell you this though.)

Unfortunately, I don't do boob jobs though. My specialization is max fac.
can you replace my skin which is covered with acne scars and dry flaky skin to skin like porcelain and not flaky
LOL. Avoid the sun and get on rosehip oil and Accutane.

@Ultimate320X:
There are Androgen and estrogen receptors all over your body that, when stimulated by hormones, respond by growing/reshaping. The upper lip is one such area that is full of androgen receptors so is very sensitive. DHT (dihydotestosterone) I believe, is the form of testosterone that would create thin lips during puberty.

As far as skull development, the jaw, chin and brow ridge are highly sensitive to testosterone whereas the cheekbones are highly sensitive to estrogen. This is why females tend to have wider cheekbones and pointier chins than males.

(Note: While hormones play a significant role in facial development, genetics are still numero uno. For instance, wide cheek bones and thick lips are often found in certain Blacks and Asians, regardless of their hormonal profile.)
So since I have plump and narrow lips, is that bad for a male?
And also what do you mean the upper lip is the best indicator of one's hormonal profile?
Depends on your age. There are many guys who can pull off plump lips, Tom Hardy for instance. Keep in mind that an ideal face has both masculine and feminine qualities.
A hormonal profile is your hormone levels basically, a test can be taken to reveal this if you are concerned about high estrogen/ low testosterone which is generally the case with plump lips. (These levels are only relevant to facial development during puberty or pre-natally though.)

If you are concerned that you look too feminine, the best way to add masculinity to one's face as a male is to lose fat, no surgery required.
why do women get lip jobs? it looks all big, nasty and all look the same.
Agreed, I've always advised against lip augmentation. The idea is that plump and narrow lips are a sexually dimorphic trait in women, whereas male lips are generally wider and thinner (the upper lip is the best indicator of one's hormonal profile as far as the mouth is concerned.) One needs to be very careful when injecting fillers and a true artist, and most surgeons aren't either.
@ZedsDead: Why did you choose to become a plastic surgeon?
Money and social status. Couldn't care less about helping my clients emotionally (keep that on the hush hush though.) Faces are also hugely intriguing to me. I'm a firm believer in physiognomy.
