Why is there hate?

Basically what the title says.
I see thread with people ranting/hating on cultures/religions/music/etc.

Why do you think people hate, instead of keeping an open mind?

Exactly what came to my mind. Is love the oppisite of hate if so then this statement. Follow the Tao and you discover so much. Things exist because we identify them. More things exist to put some sort of refrence to other objects. Everything is in perspective. What is a window. why didn't we call it a door. Why was identified? Point randomly at the sky. What exactly are you pointing at? You don't know for sure. You can say the sky, if there are clouds you can say clouds but there is probably more out there you don't know but you say something because thats what you know.

Bottomline: we hate because we love. We know they both exist.

For every good thing, there's always a counteracting force, in this case, hate.

Basilers are [mostly] in their teenage years, and thus have uncontrollable hormones that make them act like so.

*A few of the long-time Chat people are more mature, it's the people who migrated from the Maple part of Basil that are like the above.

Because man is so addicted to systems and to abstract conclusions that he is prepared deliberately to distort the truth, to close his eyes and ears, but justify his logic at all costs.

It takes fewer muscles to be online than it does to kill yourself.

It's easier to think others are wrong, than it is to accept being wrong.
