Back when that hair and eye combination when creating a character was one of the best around..
Anyone have an idea what those popping Korean texts mean?
Edit: The guy's ignoring some of the important drops.. He must be really rich that time lol.
yeah wtf. completely ignores the pig head. that thing was scarce and valuable

I still largely despise the Bigbang update for dumbing down the maps.
Video's not old enough. The Jump! Update was already there.
God not being able to jump downwards through platforms was hell. Friggin' mages with their teleport, of course...
iirc they [s]copied[/s] borrowed this "jump-down" thing from Wonderking (which let people jump down and double-jump)
Trip down memory lane
you don't have permission to go against the flow of time.
if you want to go further, you must hunt 333 memory monks
hahaha I definitely do not miss that trip taking that long
On the other hand, I loved exploring around vic island
I miss the game being hard at level 30.
Things I miss most:
Playing with IRL friends
Being a semi-funded dexless sin
Monster Carnival
Places that were actually dangerous to go but you ventured to with friends
Ludi Maze
Playing with IRL friends was so much fun, but I also had a hell of a lot of fun with friends who I made in-game. Sometimes I wonder where they are and how they're doing
so nostalgic, it makes me happy and sad at the same time so many places to explore and discover, sucks how now people spend time in like ~1% of the maps
Trip down memory lane
Good times. I miss Victoria Island actually being that big.
Hahah come, let us all be nostalgic over the old Maple. New Players wouldn't understand f3.
Old maple, a time when you actually had to explore, be social, because reaching end game was so hard that most people never focused on it, and instead focused on socializing, exploring, and occasionally leveling(outside of the occasional who gets top spot battles such as tiger and suuushi).
Note how beautiful the world of Maplestory is. Look at the background of Lith Harbor. That lighthouse is breaking my heart.
I really only miss the social aspect of the game. Where we were all noobs and try to head into the world of maple.
Speaking of taxis, the VIP taxi scam was a classic. It was small things like this that made the game interesting back then.
someone did something similar to that scam to me and a few other noobs. I was in ludi and I wanted to get back to orbis then victoria so this priest told us that he had a portal that could take us there so he added us all to the party and when we took it it ended up taking us to master death teddies. he also kicked us from the party so the only way we had to get back was to kill ourselves and lose exp...
i also miss how you actually had to explore a bit to reach Sleepywood (and sometimes dying trying to get out lol)
nostalgiaaaaaa

the good? old times when you were so poor, you'd rather walk than buy ''expensive'' town scrolls or use an ''overpriced'' taxi
I miss the golem pit.
when the game was a simple and fun game to socialize instead of whatever it is now
