Mystic Event Impossibly improbable

I'm failing to wrap my head around this myself because I find that most bosses are dead before i've even changed the channel to see them, and they've been slain by lightning god ring wearing 2m-2m people in one hit. I'm just wondering why? What do they have to gain from something that won't benefit them in any way? From items that can't increase their range in the slightest, but there they are every time killing each mystic like its childs play for some reason I can't quite comprehend.

Am I missing something here?

You can't honestly put the onus on the player to make the event work and not the event designers themselves. C'mon.

@Aiirosama:
Harm? That would be other 2~2 people killing in one second. So why would I take the risk of being nice?

@Aiirosama: oooh most boring map ever! i remember falling asleep there, sometimes a "pro" appeared to clear the bottom.
about elite shards, its already a miracle if i manage to get a purple box. most of the times, when i'm about to touch em, they get sucked by the bot.

I don't remember that but I remember newts. Dear god the newts.
Standing on a platform and holding Triple shot for several hours. I think the highest I made it was 122 before I bailed.
How could anyone think that was good?
eh, dont blame the "2m-2m people" just because they want to partecipate to an event. if you really wanna qq about something, blame poorly designed events.
Don't see anything else that could be to blame. A better solution would be to reduce everyones damage against each boss to a set amount, but its nexon.
Also me 2007 me old maple me whine all me want cause me nostalgia no 2m-2m
(Btw how many elite shards have you ended up finding?)

@TurtleSlaves:

It's not like you don't have the damage to guarantee you'll be first regardless, but that's the way things are. You're right regardless of how it sounds. Some things just never change.

So who's up for pillaging and looting nexon's office?

@Aiirosama I didn't try yet, but as a 2m ~ 2m range person myself (without a LGR, if I may add) I would do it out of curiosity. My chat was being spammed and I would naturally be curious to try it out.

Also, it would be fun just to hang out with everyone else who showed up there.

I don't really know much about the rewards, nor do I care, but I would simply do it for the first few times for curiosity and then never do it again.
Objectively pointing out facts isn't complaining. However that sheds some light on it, but really you aren't the only person collecting things or after something. What would the harm be in waiting a moment for some people to at least hit it for a reward?
Go ahead and tell that to 10 other people, I doubt they'd listen.
Humans are greedy, if we wait, we get less rewards.

Don't want to sound like an ass but it's really eat or be eaten.

Why 2~2m range people do this? As a player who has 2~2 I do it for these reasons:
1. Apparently the items you can get gives big amounts of trait exp.
2. The medals. There's like 7 kind of medals? I own a medal collection (117 right now) and I want to obtain more medals.
3. There's a lot of people over there and we get to chat, unlike other places, everyones just afk.

Yes sir, When you reach 2~2 and high enough level, you get bored and have nothing else to do. So that's what I do. Don't think you go the right to complain about that. However, I do hate the way this event works. They could've done something different so everyone gets to enjoy the event, not only the ones who reach it first.
What I do is just stay in hene when it says "5 mins left" and then change to the channel.

The easiest way to guarantee a reward is to use a skill that hits the map!
