Unfunded vs Funded How much time are you actually saving?

If I were to race two characters to level 100, one of them using clean equips without any upgrades, and one of them with "godly," ridiculously powerful equips, what would the time difference be in them getting to level 100?

Of course, the funded character will get to level 100 first but my how far behind will the unfunded character be? (This does not include having mules / friends / NX)

This is definitely an experiment I'd love to try over the summer, but I'm interested in what you guys think.

Completely forgot, but there's this video of someone getting to level 120 in 17 minutes, you gotta be funded to do that!
Also, at level 70 damage starts to really matter because the monsters at R&J are semi-powerful.

The fastest way to level would be to take 1 friend who's considerably higher than you (level 90~100) and go R&J with 2 fillers. The 2 fillers should leave. The end result is the R&J monsters are considerably stronger than they would normally be. If you can 1-hit them, then you'll level extremely quickly. Bonus points if you can bring in HS and Kanna. Of course, they should be high enough above you that they don't steal exp.

Not to mention, "funded" to me also means able to afford NX and other goodies. So if the funded guy is on 4.5x EXP (3x Marvel coupon, 1.5x Enjoyable winter) vs. the unfunded guy at 1x, then it's pretty obvious the funded guy is going to gain levels like crazy.

Being fully funded, you'll able to go from level 1 to level 120 in under 2 hours, assuming you've already taken care of setup work (scroll equips / armor, find a party to R&J with, find HS/Kanna for level 1-70).

So to answer your question, figure out how long it takes an "unfunded" person to reach level 100 and subtract 2 hours. This really depends on how far you want to take the "unfunded" part. If you start from a completely clean account, it might take days to reach level 100.
well assuming character cards only work in the world the characters are (i rmb a glitch where other worlds also had the effect) it doesnt take that much to get to 100 from scratch.
i mean the pots are a problem but once i got someone nice to spare me mesos for pots i got from 40 to 124 in a matter of hours (without 2x, just burning char which does help a lot)

i also managed to get a char with burning and 2x from lvl 10 to 96 in around 3 hours and that while i leeched my beginner with it.

You wouldn't see much difference until 120ish, but from 120 onward the difference would be massive. I did 120 to 210 on my NW in 8 hours without any 2x event or 2x card for 200+ =|

Well, from personal experience, funding does not really matter. I have some pre- scrolled lv10 gear that I wear up to level 120. As for weapon I just use whatever I pick up (HP traced gear for squishier characters is really helpful, along with DHB)

I enjoy grinding characters up to level 120-140, and I make it a mission to beat my previous times.

Link skill boost guide:

Things needed: Mercedes Link Skill, 3-4x Lucky winter, 2x EVENT, 2x EXP cash coupon. Optional: HP Traced gear, Gold MPE potions, crafted EXP potion.

Training areas: (Personal opinion of course, but I found this to be the most convenient and fun)

00-10: Tutorial quests
10-30: Curse Eyes, Ellinia
30-46: Clams, Gold Beach
46-70: Copper Drakes, Sleepywood
70-120: RnJ Party Quest

If done without breaks and assuming you're lucky enough to get into RnJ with a decent party, this is easily done within 1 hour 30 mins Also depends on what class you're training, of course.

When we refer to funding on low level characters, we're talking about some gears that really don't make that much of a difference in the whole grand scheme of things due to the fact that leveling at low levels takes a short time in general. If you want to stretch this question to level 200 though, because there's a bigger amount of time spent, the "tiny" differences really begin to show as the duration of the competition is much longer.

That being said, funded low levels tend to also have the ability to buy x2 cards and other exp multipliers whereas unfunded low levels generally do not have the ability to have as many exp multipliers. That's where I think the big difference lies.

its actually quite fast.. because be able to one hit mobs 20 lvs abv u and not being able to one hit them is quite big.. such as being able to one hit drakes at 46 and not one hitting at 46 is pretty big difference in exp

It matters a lot. With my semi funded link mule set I have over 10k hp, 120 in each stat, and around 30 attack. I can 2-hit drakes at level 36 while taking only 1 damage. I do Henesy from 10-16, Golden Beach 16-30/35/40ish (depending on elite bosses), then drakes from 36/40-70 with HS. I've done 10-70 with out all this stuff and it was so much harder. With the right equipment you don't even need to worry about potions.

There is a cut off, you only need to spend a couple of mill scrolling low leveled armor. No need to go overboard with "Godly" equipment, just scrolling it and getting it to +5 stars is enough to one shot most things.

Honestly, character cards help a lot for leveling a character regardless of funds (new characters). I think the funding put into new characters are negligible because you'll be one-shotting most of the mobs you train on until you eventually get to R&J.

But if you mean on fresh accounts, the funded will definitely be faster, just not sure by how much.

They would most likely finish at about the same time because getting to level 100 isn't about damage compared to higher levels.
You would only be visiting Golems, Gold Beach, Drakes, and R&J PQ.
