Isnt it annoying when

Isn't it annoying when you have someone negative and feel down all the time? Or when you have someone who always speaks in a monotone voice or have an angry face all the time? Or is this just me? I mean why can't they just smile for once and make themselves and the people around them happier

I suffer from extreme depression, if you don't know, I have bipolar disorder. And I got quite offended by this thread, seriously. -_- Some of us actually have crappy, miserable, and depressing lives and have been living them for sometime nonstop and they never seem improve much. No matter what effort we put towards trying to make them better. Not everyone have something to be all jolly about, if anything. Also, some of us are just negative people, could be apart of our personality or integrated into who we are. I always hated it when a random person walks pass and simply say "stop complaining" or "cheer up", that's so ignorant to say or to think that all they see the troubles someone is suffering or living through is just that, or either it not being that bad or it's not a big of deal. You don't live the same lives as other people do so what would you know.
I'm personally am a negative person and have been for most of my teen life. Some of us have little to nothing to be happy, cheerful and positive about. Doesn't help when ya have a mental illness add onto it.

To help you have a better understanding, let me give you an example;
Imagine if say, someone's family died. They have no friends to lean on, no other relatives they could go to, and they're all alone in this world. And all they did was have their head down, maybe cry a bit or just be depressed or whatever 24/7. And a random person came by to check out the unhappy person, and that random person simply says cheer up, it's not that bad or "get over it", "stop crying you baby". Despite that random person being completely unaware of the depressed persons circumstances. I personally would want to shoot random people like that on the spot.

Yep. I know this is hypocritical, but I hate people who complain about everything all the time. Come on, most people I talk to probably have slightly better lives than me, yet they still manage to complain quite often. Come on dude, can't you just live and let live?

I only hate those that are so narrow minded that any differing mindset will be ridiculed by them.
i.e. sexuality, clothing, job choice

I find it annoying when people question why you do certain things.. almost in a judgmental manner.
yeah, and just because i'm not smiling or audibly enthusiastic doesn't mean that i'm feeling down or negative. i'm not going to smile just to please others. if you can't handle my brf and honest display of emotions, or a lack thereof, then i don't want you in my life. i'm trying to cut down on the number of fake folks i have.
Well, I am not talking about people being just normal. Yes, people can be happy at times, mad at times, or sad at times. I mean they're humans after all. I'm just talking about overly negative people. I don't expect everybody to be overly positive either since that isn't possible neither is it normal.
