I made it out, then was put back in. Gladly actually, but I think i'm going back out again. Lul.

My boyfriend made it out of the friendzone.
We started off as friends during school. He asked me to prom his senior year, but I couldn't go because I didn't know him that well at the time. He than graduated and we lost contact for awhile. A year after he graduated, he asked if we could hang out after school sometime, so we did just that. About 3 months after that we were hanging out at a fair, when we arrived he pulled me into a hug and flat out asked me: "Would you be my girlfriend?". I was shocked at first but than agreed. To this day, I couldn't be happier. We have so much in common that it is crazy. Agreeing to date him was one of the best decisions I've made.

My advice: Come straight out and ask her, if it's ment to be, it will be. If it's not then atleast you gave it your best effort.

Gotta put a limit on how long though, if you invest too much into one... you could potentially pass by other better opportunities.

well, i got out of a friend zone by just completely not talking to the girl. This happened for like a year or 2. Next thing i knew, she texted me out of random and hung out for like a few days within the following week. After that, she came over to my house (i live with 3 roommates no parents) and we cuddled a bit and started dating. Only lasted for like 5 months though. Then we saw other people.

if you think she's worth the wait (potentially years), like, you want to spend years with her without a doubt.
Otherwise, there's a lot of fish in the sea. I wouldn't worry about it too mcuh.

I was "friendzoned" and the best advice I can give is patience. I mean a butt load of patience, depending on how much you care about this person. I don't think being a jerk is necessary just stay a good friend To get to the point went from friendzone all the way to marriage.

Ending all kind of communication with that person is the only way of getting out of friendzone.

I dont want to diminish the friendship... i just want to become more than friends

This is exactly what you should do to get out of it. Just be anti-social with her and eventually that friendship will be diminished.
