This falls under Basilmarket Rule #1 against attacking other users and players.
Anyone can say anyone else is a "scammer" (or whatever) for any reason and it's easy to ruin someone's reputation if it's broadcast widely and loudly enough.
Even "evidence" can easily be photoshopped, and videos can be (and has been) faked.

It's Nexon's job to mediate problems between Maplestory players, Basilmarket can't be getting in between and playing traffic cop, trying to verify reports or checking out screenshots for validity.
But because many people consider it valuable as "warnings" to other players we've been just locking most of these threads and moving them to the GMS section of the site so if anyone is interested they can be found there.
Threads which openly discuss buying and selling of NX and NX codes (which is against both Basilmarket and Nexon rules) may be simply deleted.
The correct thing to do is to file a report with Nexon and hope they'll do their jobs.

The fact that you're giving one-sentence "no you're wrong" to each of her points makes you not worth the trouble to argue with.

2) a lot of scammers reuse the same characters/accounts to scam cause rarely anyone would trust a fresh level 15 character with no nx and not a single well known voucher. old threads with evidence can prevent newer or naive players from getting scammed. making a thread and exposing them is better than doing nothing like you are. it also takes a bit of effort to make yourself appear trustworthy enough to scam believe it or not
3) pointing out scammers with the intention of helping others isn't a waste of time. your post was a waste of everyone's time though
4) what great advice: never trust anyone. don't even bother playing the game. just quit

Witch hunting? Since when has anyone ever been able to do anything about a scammer? There is absolutely no stopping them. They never get banned. Also them being known as being a scammer is completely useless. Oh look at that I made a new character and now have a clean slate. I never understood why people wasted their time pointing out scammers. Op everyone is a scammer. Never trust anyone. If you live by this you wont get scammed its pretty simple tip to follow.

it got locked cause you violated nexon's terms of service by attempting to sell codes. if you had gotten scammed via a different method then it might have stayed up. it wasn't to protect scammers and although basil's not intended for exposing them which could potentionally lead to witch hunting, its mods despise them as much as the next player. getting scammed sucks and i feel for you but you'll have to look for other ways to prevent others from getting scammed by those two people like contacting their guild leader and warning people in game

there should be a database where people could list fishy names though... so we know who and who not to trust. I'm usually really trustworthy and in this game that's really bad lol
