I bought the 3ds the day it was released for $250, still pissed they dropped the price so soon afterwards. Not gonna waste money on a 3ds xl.

I would've done this too (but toward a 3DS, not XL), but I use my DS Lite to transfer pokemon from SS to black.

Items like that will be cheaper eventually. And i dont know trade in prices but i would just trade in the DSLite and have some more cash to buy the 3DSXL.

I got a used 3DS about 2-3 weeks ago for 140 I think? It was in great shape, I like the feel of the button clicks, the battery life is good enough for me, it's a good size and it's not uncomfortable. The XL just seems way too big for me, looks a bit more like a children's game handheld (like those cheap, bulky ones you see on commercials), I don't like how the XL speakers look, the graphics I think are going to look worse because the image is stretched (correct me if I'm wrong), and lastly, I think it's just too big. I could afford either, but I went with the 3DS in black. I'm super happy that it's in great shape considering it's used, and I think it was $30 less than the price for a new one.

I personally love the 3DS and would go with it over the XL, but it's up to you

3DS > 3DS XL.

not sure what i want to do
since the regular 3DS has that bomb ass extra stick/battery pack thing, but the XL will be bigger and have the extended battery life as well. i think i'll wait and see what prices are like and weigh my options.

I dunno if I will. I know that at GAME there's a deal where if you trade in your old 3DS you get the XL for just £80..
But I'll probably just stick with the regular one.

I bought the old 3ds and i love it! My old bulky ds I bought when they first came out just doesn't compare in any way. Never going back to bulky so bleh no.
