Usually subbed. Made exceptions for decently dubbed ones like Baccano and FMA.
Pretty much this. FMA's dub in particular was really well done. If all anime were dubbed like this, I wouldn't bother with subs, because not having to read the text on the bottom gives me more time to enjoy the art and animation.
I watched the dubbed and subbed for School Rumble.
The English voice actors were quite good actually.
@Phong128992: Most of the time the actor's voice doesn't fit the the character or they don't put as much emotion into it. Most just sound dull... I did say there were a few dubbed exceptions, didn't I? Well, that's just what I think.
'Cause the English voice actors usually, like, suck. xD
Subbed, but there are a few dubbed exceptions.
How can you compare the two languages if they are two completely different things? I can understand if it was a dialect you were comparing each of them too, but it's not.
Wow people must really hate dubbed ;o. I see no problem with dubbed anime. I watch cartoons with english voices so I also like watching anime with english voices -shrug-. But yea. If there aren't dubbed I watch subbed.
It really depends on the show. I like the English Dub for Haruhi, Code Geass, and DBZ way more than the original. But most of the time, I watch subbed anime.

Dubbed or Subbed. Preferably dubbed, I don't think about the voice acting, if I do then I'll remember that I'm watching a tv show and that'll kill the mood. I think I only came across one dubbed anime that was bad enough to not watch, the rest were just fine. Anti-dubbers, come hate me please.
I struggle to enjoy the anime when it is dubbed.
I watch english dubs. I don't mind the voice acting.
Subbed. Dubbed makes me want to claw my hair off because they sound terrible.
I hate dubs. The voice actors almost always sound horrible, and it's so cheesy.
When it's still in Japanese it seems more badass.
English Subs
Japanese Animes.
Subbed. Dubbed makes me want to shoot myself in the head.
I'd watch it raw, but I'm not too familiar with Japanese yet, so.
I watch sub dubed just sounds ... i cant handle it
The only animes i watched dubs are full metal alchemist/broterhood and angel beats
I don't watch anime, but I'd most likely watch the one that is in English just because I don't care if it's in Japanese.
How on Earth can people watch the pure Japanese ones without subtitles if you don't even understand Japanese?
I only watch English. (: So whichever one means english lol.
I watch raw. I understand most of the Japanese for all the shows.
Raws for shows I can mostly/fully understand.
Subs for shows with crazy Japanese (Hyouge Mono, etc).
I watched Chinese dubs of anime when I was a toddler.
I watch dubs so that my friends won't call me a weaboo for watching anime.
DBZ, Pokemon, FMA and Code Geass had great dubs, the rest I watch in subs.
I watch boku no Pico. I make my own dubs for it.
That isn't an anime.
It's H.
I watch subs, just for the fact that half of the english dubs sound either cliche as hell, or just plain old bad.
I watch boku no Pico. I make my own dubs for it.
I'm p normal when it comes to stuff like this. I've just watched like 3 critically acclaimed ones in whatever was available. idk why people argue over dumb stuff like this either.
If dubbed is available, dubs. If there's only subs, then subs.
Subbed. Pokemon is the only dubbed anime that is watchable.
And Dragonball Z
OT: Subbed, japanese voice actors sound much better imo.
Subbed. Pokemon is the only dubbed anime that is watchable.
Subbed for the most part. I'll watch it dubbed if it's known for notably good voice acting like Baccano, Cromartie High School, Cowboy Bebop or Big O.
