What is the lowest grade socially acceptable to
date if you are in grade 11?
Edit: What about if your gr.12? People have said aslong as your in high school it doesnt matter. like a gr.12 dating a gr.9 apparently it doesnt matter if she is mature. but like thats a gr.9 dating a gr.6 or 7. thats wierd but if they were in there 20's it wouldnt matter the age difference. i guess it all just matters on maturity right?

I'd say 3 year gap but she has to be 10th grade+. Anything younger is considered a younger sibling.

When I was in high school the cardinal rule was to never go below the 4 year grade difference. As in, if she'll still be in middle school by the time you graduate high school, you're aiming way too low. Anything above that though is fine. Although the closer in age the better if you plan on it lasting beyond graduation. Because once you hit 18 and she's not, it becomes a different kind of slippery slope lol.

yeah i get you all, my friend dated a gr.9 this year. she didnt look older but noone was wierded out by it.
When I was in 11th I dated a girl in 9th, she was 15 and I was 16 or 17. It didn't feel weird at all but that was the lowest I'd go.
Gonna go with @Killeen on this one. If you get with a middle schooler that would be hella creepy. I dated a 9th grader when I was a junior, but I'm also young for my grade so it could've been worse.
