Do you hate passionate speakers?

I'm talking about the kind that when they are having a discussion with you they get so into it feels like they are screaming at you, they put all their emotion and energy and passion into explaining or speaking to you it makes you feel whatever they are expressing.

I hate it because very often its an issue i don't agree on at all or just don't care and they really are screaming/yelling at me to the point where they are almost out of breath and they don't even know it.

Sure i understand that their intention may not be to make me feel that way, they are just passionate, but its still annoying. Especially those that pretty much get "mad" when they are talking so passionately to you. And they are so into talking passionately that they dont even know they are talking so passionately, and if you try to talk back they'll just talk louder. These passionate people tend to have naturally loud voices as well.

Do you know anyone like this or have received this type of passion before/
Yeah... but now, I really regret not listening. I didn't feel imposed on so much as I felt surprised that a random stranger was talking to me out of the blue. I've been searching for reference about Bruce Lee destroying Satanism and unsurprisingly, I can't find anything about it. Maybe that was my only chance in this lifetime to hear about how Bruce Lee destroyed Satanism.

And I get the whole fear of abrasiveness thing. It's kind of like the fear of doing something crazy like bungee jumping or air diving. Being scared of the unknown, being scared of new experiences, being scared of potential pain, all of that is normal. But afterwards, you sit down and think "man, I kind of wish I tried bungee jumping when I had the chance." I'll never know how Bruce Lee destroyed Satanism now, unless I go find that guy which is never gonna happen. There's a good chance that that curiosity is gonna stay with me for a long, long time.
I'm not against the human experience of sharing our lives with each other. I just think there's ways people can do it without resorting to shouting at someone else.
Passion is important, but it can also be imposing and unwanted like how you initially felt. There are different forums where these passions can be directed onto. I'm sure OP isn't inherently against self expression so much as the abrasiveness that some people exhibit when trying to make a connection with someone.

I always love hearing about people's passions. Recently, I've tried to make an effort to listen to people more. A few weeks ago, there was this really strange incident where I was walking through a train station and a man came up to me and started talking about how Bruce Lee destroyed Satanism. At the time, I was a little weirded out so I didn't really follow the conversation, and he walked away after a few minutes. But now, I'm just so curious. How did Bruce Lee destroy Satanism? Maybe he was delusional, maybe he was crazy, but I really wish I made a better effort to listen to him. Maybe I should have asked to have a cup of coffee with him or something.

Nowadays, it feels like people are so passionless. They're dead inside. They have no motivation. I don't want to believe that that's the default state for humans to live in. I want to be surrounded by people who truly desperately care about something so much that they would make sacrifices for it.

Pretty sure there's a difference between passionate, mad, and just a loud person in general. Passion is in their tone, not the volume of their voice. If they're just yelling and talking rapidly, it seems more like frustration and anger. Just my opinion though, passion is alright, yelling is not.

My god there is this one girl in my anatomy class who is really smart (but reaally annoying). She talks so fast and answers literally everything the teacher asks without raising her hand. She's always put into my lab table because she's a loner T__T. She yells at everyone and repeats this phrase on average 10 times per lab day "Oh don't trust me, I'm just your average idiot" or "Yeah I'm probably not going to get into any colleges because I'm stupid" She got into all the UCs besides LA pls. I could go on and on god pls help me /rant sry

Passion doesn't necessarily mean yelling and screaming; you can have somebody make a speech about a topic that really hits home for them and feel the emotion in their voice without it being loud and obnoxious.

People who fake passion when making speeches are more awful to me, it sounds as wooden and cringey as the dialogue in the Star Wars prequels.

You used the word "passion" and it's related forms so passionately in that post...

Yeah, this can happen. Do you know if they do it for every issue or just ones which touch a deep nerve for them?
