Igns ending with Ly

Why do most 'pro' maplers have igns that end with Ly? It is not just 'pros' though. Some people go so far to get an ign that ends with Ly that they make up words like perfectidly and somehowingly. It does not bother me im just curious. Discuss?

Mysterieuse

About 3 years ago, when I was in Windia, I decided to change my IGN and World Transfert to my ex boyfriend's server (Khaini) then I been thinking of an IGN, which I came to pick "Mysterieuse". I thought it was a nice IGN and still think it is today, but now people think I've been trying to copy that other girl "Mystanious", which happen to be in Khaini too, but I changed my IGN even before I moved to Khaini so I didn't even know about her We also had the same haircut and similar style, and people would confuse me for her.

I don't know why people think making up their own adverbs and naming their players after them is "cool". I think it makes them look like complete tools. I always choose names that have personal meaning or significance. To associate with a meaningless adverb from the dictionary, or even worse, an invented adverb to make yourself look cool to others, is pretentious and stupid.

Anyone who knows me knows how ridiculous I think this is.
@CoolSauce: Well, 26*26*26*26 (number of letters, repeatable) = 459676 combinations using only the alphabet, all of which are random. I don't think I would want to put that much effort into finding a good 4 letter ign .

Taking into consideration you can also use numbers which makes
10+26 (the alphabet) = 36
36*36*36*36 (repeatable letters/numbers) = 1679616 combinations.
Now to find some that are not taken...
Truth be told, I find it unoriginal. I'd prefer a 4-letter-word that's been taken by some other person eons ago.
There has to be more 4letter words out there... they can't be all taken can they?

It's cool as long as there isn't already a million suffixes to the IGN.

Somehowinglessly = bad.
Gracefully = good.
Yea, come on it is not that hard is it? Google 'words ending with Ly' and see what comes up.
That works You can always type the words out onto MSWORD (or even here in this reply box) and see if the word is detected as an incorrect spelling/non-existent word!

Pros usually pick terrible names like:

xXxSephirothN0SC00PXxX
T00L33T
1995SinXxx
EmoSin

And variations of mind boggling catastrophic names in failed attempts to sound deep and edgy.

@karmazen:
oh if the word doesnt make sense (and if it doesnt sound cool) its a worthless ign just like narutohermitdexlessproyounoob
and i love doing oOignOo because not many people do that XD
all my classes are named that way
oOnightyOo - nw
oOPoleyOo - aran
oOmechyOo - mech
oOfireyOo - f/p
oOevanOo - evan
oOMirOo - evan
oOdualeyOo - db
and so forth
its kinda sad that people copy the -ly ending as a sort of a rule, they should look into what ign makes them feel is suitable/fun for them...

the less pro igns with "Ly" at the end are usually the results of people really liking words but not being able to get them in other forms

Enhancingly isn't a word. Just because you add a suffix to a real word doesn't make the outcome a real word. Just thought you should know. I'm not insulting your name or anything.

Actually, enhancingly is not a word. Enhancing is already an adverb as is.

they want igns which resemble simple words.
like champ or smug or smuggler or whatever, (i own those btw)
since most of them are taken they started adding suffices like ly/ing/er
like smugly.
failing to explain it lol
but happy comes first, happily comes second, the former has more value but the latter still has value, and most people dont wanna run around with igns like narutodexlessprozakumkillertobinahsteeliesyeah, they want simple words like warm or cold, or logic or similar because they are memorable, due to simplicity and association and bolster the players comfidence in the ign?
omgosh i just woke up so cut me some slack

Having "Ly" is just pathetic.

I say everyone should switch to putting their favorite beverage in their ign.
Think about it: there could be a CaptainBeer, a CaptainMilk, or even a CaptainTea.
just phases. When i started everyone put their job in their ign. ___Sin, ___Dit etc. then people started doing i_____, and around the same time ppl stated adding x3____ to their names, then ppl started making one word adverbs. They're just fads.

I wouldn't say -ly players are all pro, they're just the most well known. They're the ones that are always smegaing, or hanging out in high traffic areas. I think the one word adverb names are functions of them wanting to be noticed or well known ( not saying they're attention hoars, just another way to play the game) and therefore putting more effort in to coming up with an original name as opposed to someone who is just playing with a few friends who are going to call them by their RL name anyway.
x____ was popular too at some point.
