Well Nexon has added lots of things that don't make sense. But still, it is good to have the choice, some people do prefer the new damage number

How many times does it need to be posted, that you can choose to use classic

To be honest, I don't think I like Eunwol (Yunnel?) very much. He doesn't seem to be very interesting in my opinion. The "mash-attack-until-key-doesn't-work" idea has been beaten, revived, and beaten again. They get a skill that lets them cheat death, like Phantom, Dark Knights, Zero, and Evan; Soul Tent has already been done; Final Attack has been done; Chaos Lock/Dragon Blink/Shroud Walk/Light Blink has been done. If Back Step gives i-frames, Wind Archers already get it: otherwise it's a useless skill. The only thing about them him that interests me is Drag Pulling - Down, but only mildly. I won't say anything about Bind Area because I don't boss, and that's the only place I can think of where it will be useful. Division Soul Attack probably will not work on bosses and has a long cooldown, so I can't see it being useful. All in all, I can't say that I'm going to play one when he releases in GMS.
Wow, this made me realize Eunwol is Mihile on a larger scale. Mihile's skills are just copies of warriors skills, while Eunwol's are copies of many other jobs' skills.

Most of the vids I've seen of Eunwol either don't use his cancel ability very well, or they don't use it at all.

The way his combat system works isn't as 'in your face' as the other classes. It seems like something that requires
a bit of time to maximize it's usefulness. I think he just needs a bit of time before we make our decisions about him.
I definitely am planning on playing him.
To all you haters saying he has no unique system, what about the combo-interrupt system? That's new! Backing out or rushing forward while canceling a skill chain is pretty unique [to maplestory] in my book! Sure, its been done before in games like DFO, but its new to MAPLESTORY, is it not?
Isn't Moment Step essentially Demon Slayer's Chaos Lock and Back Step is just, Back Step?
I think that Eunwol is gonna be named differently in GMS because, In KMS Eunwol is spelled in Korean and has nothing to do with the letter E, Eunwol is just the pronunciation of that name
I hope its Eunwol >.> I got the ign Eunwoll
He's flashy, but has no unique system. Nothing unique about the spirits, just part of the animation. I don't count his quest as a unique system cause that's been done before and scrapped. I don't know why nexon brought it back.
Wow. I think that's it. I coulldn't put my finger on it, but that's what Eunwol is missing an actual system, its just skills. Now we have emphasized systems (Explorers, Novans, Lumi, etc) while others have subtle systems (Merc, BaM, Cannoneer, etc). Eunwol just has skills.....which is old schoolish.

Seems more like a cop-out just to make sure they can say they actually released the Pirate Hero.

Seems like it'll do okay (mid, upper mid tier) damage. The only thing that looks remotely good about it is that it can bind like crazy, as well as has the ability to grab mobs. If they're serious about the whole "More control, more skilled gameplay" thing, maybe moving mobs will be more essential?

EDIT: you haters not wanting to have newer, FLASHIER numbers! Flashiness is ALWAYS a good thing, unless you're prone to seizures. Flashiness= more exiting animations, flashiness = more intricate animations, and Flashiness = more EPIC animations, besides that, you guys will only be able to escape the flashiness for so long, cause the reason 5th job skills are taking a long time to develop is because they will have a level of flashiness that is OVER 9 THOUSAND! Because the 5th job skill designs are so EPIC, they're taking a long time to develop the animations for said skills, because they have a LOT of ideas to throw around, the ideas they've already decided to keep are SUPER intricate, and the ideas they have are also SUPER flashy. Once fifth job comes, you seizure-prone people will have ABSOLUTELY nowhere to hide MWAHAHAHAHAHA! You'll have no choice but to leave mapleworld and NEVER return. NEVER! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! <3

Those of you who can't take the flashiness will have NO non-flashy classes to hide behind MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! <3 I'll give it 1 year, 2 years tops, then you won't be able to escape the flashiness without escaping maple world! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
i agree with you as well. dynamic combat in maplestory is pretty fun, but not really effective. i can see this class be good in pvp (similar to monk in dfo haha)...if it came back </3

Flashy, yeah, but pretty balanced so far. I can't concentrate on KMST videos right now though because of the floating numbers making me want to punch the screen.
