@cherrytigers: It's similar to that, but not exactly. For every shot of RF we take, the server has to register a bullet being used. That causes us to lag massively with RF. So it's like the durability issue, only we have a (tedious) work around in Infinity Blast.

Do you lag when hitting mobs or when hitting bosses? If you only lag exclusively while hitting mobs, maybe it's because each time you kill something, the server has to communicate with your computer or whatever crap. Basically, each time you kill something and cause it to give you EXP and cause it to drop something in the map, all the information being sent back and forth causes your lag hence why me dealing damage to a mob caused me to lag since it introduced new things into the map (drops) and gave me exp, whereas, me hitting the boss caused no lag since the boss doesn't give me exp until I kill it.

I don't understand computer software but that's just my theory. Getting a new laptop auto-fixed my problem.

This happened to me on my old PC before I upgraded.

It's literally possible to not have enough RAM for rapid fire. Kinda sad.

@crizit: Having just completed the Masteria Through Time event with my Corsair, I can say that it's still the same for me. I haven't noticed a single change with her lagging issues.
Oh, well. I guess it's a relief that I don't really play that character much anymore to be that bothered by it. =/

I didnt play my sair for a while, but when I did last night...wow I can definitely notice that lag even with infinity blast, also it really didn't help me when I was grinding and theres millions of drops from the easter events ._.

@crizit: It's still pretty awful. Doesn't seem like much has changed for me.

I normally get super lag with Hurricane type skills (and NW jump attacking) when I'm wearing durability equips, but otherwise idk =/

mm.. seems like the lag is mostly gone but it still exists while having infinity blast activate.

I thought I was crazy. It really sucks that it means that I'm forced to bring Infinite Bullets to Ursus. Plus respawning at CRA and Magnus is a nightmare without buff freezers because of it.

Noticed the lag for the first time while taking my Corsair through the Masteria Through Time event.
They really need to do something about this.

@crizit Yea it's Infinity Blast that has to be activated. Night Walkers have the same issue, they need 'Shadow Stars' activated or else they get massive framerate drop. Night Lord, Wind Archer, Bow Master and Marksman are fine.

I informed Nexon about this bug years ago, yet they haven't done anything lol

I tried it again, And it happens like 3 mins after loggin.

@aeraxis: Both of them. Air and mobs.

@wall: Maple is set to normal priority in task manager. Everything except 3 lines are set as normal. The 3 are dwm.exe, winlogon.exe, taskmgr.exe

@rexaar: no durability equipment at all.

@gh0st559: Seems like this is the solution.. I tried one by one all of the comments above and yours was last O: Thank you! No wonder I always lag during bosses, I hardly use the skill in bosses.

Is it when you used RF? If you dont have Infinity Blast activated and use RF it causes the game to lag.

Are you wearing any equipment that has durability?
There's a issue with rapid attacks skill causing lag when it is hitting monster because it is telling the server to drop the durability by 1 for each attack.

@crizit: I might have an idea of what causes it, but I need you to clarify somethingâ€"when you say 1min of spamming, are you actually hitting mobs in that time or are you shooting at the air? If it's the latter then I have no idea, unfortunately.

@wall: It always happens actually. My computer is almost a year old and it had happened from day 1 I bought it. Like, I turn on my pc, log maple, after like 1 min of spamming it starts laggin. freezy lags.
