Just turn off trade requests in system settings and generally you'll be free from people randomly opening trades lol. I find it a bit annoying when some random opens a trade window when I'm trying to do something F3 like chatting with my friend. Just use something like the a teleport to another town skill like Mercedes' link skill, alternatively if you're a phantom, use the Lumiere skill (airship ftw), or if you're not in town... Open a mystic door and walk in. '-'

I ignore them unless i like their IGN and/or their character is cute.

I would try to educate them.

If they say please I give them money, if they say plz I don't and defame them.

I usually try to give a decent amount of mesos to new players but sometimes they try to take advantage of you.

Last week this guy asks me if I can buy him some mastery books because he couldn't afford them. I was feeling pretty generous and gave him 20m. He then asks if I could also help his friend buy one, I was a bit hesitant but said I would if it was only one more person. He said he was going to go get him and then went away. At that point I was getting a little suspicious as to why he didn't just message his friend so I used /find on him. I saw cc'd to channel 2 and then logged off. A few seconds after this other guy logs on and tells me that he was that other person's friend. At this point I got pretty annoyed but still wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, so I asked him where his friend was. He didn't answer and just kept asking me for mesos. I told him I would help him out as long as his friend also logged on while he was still logged on. He went quiet for a few minutes and then continued to follow me trying to make up a bunch of obvious excuses like "he had to go" and "we share a computer".

I usually give a certain amount that would round down to the nearest zero number. If I have 15,678,910 - I give 5,678,910 mesos.

I use my Hyper Tele Rock to move to another continent.

What I do is to block trade. If they ask, I act afk. I don't mind sharing I do daily give away of solid gollux stuffs but sometimes people tend to take advantage of your kindness.

I usually hand out 100k to them and then just ignore them. Its no loss to me, it doesn't help them at all, and yet I don't feel as bad for completely ignoring them.

I learned to ignore them. At first I give a beggar a weapon or some pots...then they continue to ask for more. What's even more hilarious is when I have a sw wand and someone trades me asking if I want to buy their crappy wand. lol

Put in 1 meso at a time into the trade.

I lecture them about how easy it is to get a lil bit of mesos (usually they ask for ~10m), ways to get them and at the end of my lecture if they haven't left already I give them 20m.
