The 19 years later, didn't look like 19 years later.

@Horizon: I was just clarifying if that actually was true, cause another person said it was WITCH. I remember it being the b word for sure, but I didn't know if it was changed in the movie. Guess not.
In the book, it's something that'd be censored on Basil. So in the movie, she only says "witch"?
No, it was definitely the b word in the movie. Calling another witch a witch is not even insulting plus it wouldn't make sense. lol
Tweaks? I dunno. And she does kill Bellatrix. Bellatrix is mean >_<
Well, in the book, Bellatrix is about to like, do something to Hermione, then Monica's like, "THAT'S MY DAUGHTER, YOU -beep-!"
AND HOW SAD IS IT WHEN FRED DIES?

I just came home from watching it. (IMO) Best Harry Potter movie. Although the thing that ticked me off the most was when Voldermort and Harry were having their Avada Kedarve/Expelliarmus thing it was outside and they were alone, when in the book they were inside and everybody was there. It's really sad to think that it's the end. I kind of want to have a Harry Potter marathon tonight, but nope. Neville <33

Haha yeah, I immediately thought to myself "And now there's a bit of Voldy in all of you c:"

I really enjoyed the movie, quite sad that the whole series is over. Now J.K. needs to write a brand new epic series for us (magic optional)
The movie was pure holywood, the battle in it wasn't even good.
Did you read the book correctly? There were even supposed to be viewers of the battle surrounding them.

It wasn't all that great, don't hype it up. Critics say it was good solely for the reason that it was the last one.
Who wan'ts to end the series on a sour note.

Can't say, "The next one will be better!"

Edit: I liked #6.
Edit2: Transformers 3 was definitely the best so far this summer. Whenever the dark knight rises comes out, I'm sure it'll match it.
Did you just suggest Transformers 3 was the best movie this summer? You're kidding right?

The movie was nice, but of course the book was better.
I really wish they made the battle more accurate to the book. Professor McGonagall said that those over the age of 17 could stay to fight, and the deaths during the battle weren't as sad as reading them in the book... They didn't show Grawp in the battle (that wouldn't have been difficult to include :l) ...and Voldemort didn't look so smart, and just a bunch of things were weird compared to the book, haha.
Also, during the "19 years later" they didn't mention Teddy Lupin nor Neville being a professor. );

When Voldemort hugged Draco there were a lot of people saying "wut.." in the theatre, and when Neville destroyed the bridge, killed the snake, and Mrs. Weasley destroyed Bellatrix there was a lot of clapping. @_@;

Overall: Liked it
Fan girls: Disliked all the screaming and clapping at parts pissed me off

Snape got owned. I was expecting a bigger battle near the ending with voldemort and harry but nope.

So I was watching the part 1, and on the scene when Ron gives a Harry a new wand he says "Its blackthorn, 10 inches, nothing special." everyone in the theater bust out laughing and it took my a long time to get.

overall i really liked it, though minor complaints were how they killed some pretty important characters off screen and also the really weak/short battle between Mrs. Weasley and Bellatrix. but i can overlook them for the awesome direction, effects, and humor! i seriously cannot believe how much i laughed at a movie that i also cried during (Snape's memories got me).

i figure other people noticed this too, but when Voldemort dissolves at the end technically everybody there is going to breathe him in. p gross

Thrice'd.

Where's the part where Voldemort hugs Draco? I downloaded the movie and skipped a bunch of parts. :S
EDIT: Found it and yes it's lol

And Molly vs Bellatrix. How long was that fight? 30 seconds? DD: The Dark Lord's most loyal servant dead in less than a minute? Whyyy Bella was my favorite.
EDIT: 25 seconds, I went back and checked.

Voldemort all smiley at the end was creepy. I'll get a screencap, so we all can relive the creepy. http://i.imgur.com/PXrl9.png

The more Harry Potter movies that come out, the less I like them when I see them. And the people in the theatre with me were crying all the time so that was a bit annoying. Even more annoying was the white light after the darkness for most of the movie. D:

Quick question for those who went to see it. I've been told and read many info spread on the internet that the Dark Knight Rises Teaser Trailer was suppose to be shown on the premier of this movie. Was it?
It was Goyle and Blaise Zabbini (don't know what happened to the dude who played Crabbe)
Uhmm im not sure but a friend said the guy that plays Crabbe was caught in possession of drugs so he is in jail or something so he wasnt in the film at all. And so they got Zabbini to replace him.

EDIT: ahh what the guy above says ^
Anyone wanna explain why he collected Snape's tears in a flask?
Dumbledore wanted Harry to know he was part of Voldemort and that was what that was for and Snape wanted Harry to know that he wasn't really evil.
I'd say the movies lack of some the book's depth because of the 2-3 hour time limit, but it makes up in the typical movie CGI special effects, 3D, and such.
It would be more in depth if they had 5+ hour movies. But then again, who wants to sit down for 5 hours?

I lol'd when Voldemort hugged Draco. Voldemort also seemed alot more goofy in this one than in the rest of the HP movies.
And yeah Neville was a super boss in this movie, like when he cut the head off of the the snake.

i thought they did really good about putting as much info in the movie.
if you complain about it not having as much and being slightly confusing...then read the book, that's what its for..

all in all, im Happy about it
She totally deserved it.
I hated the goblin banker too. Such a shady character.

Ending was anticlimatic even though it was probably the most important part. You don't have the same relieved feeling you get at the end of LOTR. You only feel like a lot of stuff is missing.

However, the rest of the movie was amazing. I give this movie a 10/10 as a standalone film, but a 8.5/10 as an adaptation of the book.
