Anyone like presenting?
I do. I love the rush you get before you have to go up and then all of a sudden the feeling goes away as you stand in front of the class like you could do anything and than at the end of the presentation the feeling comes back and your heart is pounding, man that feeling is amazing! I wish I could say the same about roller coasters but my body has gotten use to the G-forces and it's not the same anymore.
I'm asking this because I see threads saying how presenting is scary, am I the only one who likes the feeling?

I don't mind doing presentations, my main problem is that if I like what I am presenting about or not and how into the topic I am.
Hate it. Only positive thing is that I can be loud enough for the class to hear.
i like show and tell. but i hate public speaking. i do not want to the be central focus and everyone notice my imperfections.
Only if I know what I'm talking about. If it's a bunch of bull sh-t.. Well, it's tough coming up with enough bull sh-t to pass for a presentation.
@Duckynater Completely off the main topic, but if you're used to the G-forces on roller coasters, then stop going to theme parks for a few years, that did it for me. I used to go to Six Flags 2-3 times a year, for like 6 years straight. By the last year, I only noticed the negative g forces on large drop, and inversions were hardly noticeable. After that, I didn't go to any theme parks for about 5 years and then earlier this year I went back to Six Flags and even the little drops gave me that butterflies in your stomach feeling. It was a weird experience, because rides I brushed off years ago were suddenly a lot more intense lol.
Anyway, as for the main topic, I don't particularly [i]like[i] doing presentations or speeches in front of people, but it depends on what the topic is. If it's a topic I'm really into, then I'm fine. If not, I'm either nervous or just very unenthusiastic about it lol.
Lol I just don't like people staring at me I guess. I don't want to screw up in front of people, so that makes me nervous, and sometimes I may screw up.. which was the thing I was hoping not happen, which is kind of embarrassing, but I guess if I get more practice of it I'll get better? Oh and I'm pretty quiet, soooo that just makes it worse
I like sharing + talking in front of people, but I'm soft spoken and not really like a "serious" presenter, sometimes I feel like I'm doing some elementary show and tell with fancier content or telling my friends a story I'm not really sure how people get into "presentation" mode
I've given seminars in-front of hundreds of world renowned scientists, so it's almost second nature to me.
My teachers always say I'm a naturally good and "authentic" presenter. I know how to keep the class entertained and have their full attention apparently.
I don't like anticipating anything. If I know I have some presentation, interview, appointment, or anything like that, I just want to get it out of the way and not think about it for the week before it happens.
I like paritpiating, and presenting. Feeling like a teacher and teaching the class is so fun.
Also, you feel like you could talk to anyone afterwards.
No, I like it too (:
but only when I know I'm ready and have friends in the class and like the teacher
depends on the situation, really
You mean like pariticpating in class...not really. Well not for now.
Depends what I'm presenting. If I'm interested in what I'm presenting, such as a biology presentation, I get really into it. If it's a socials presentation, I look dead and it's not very good.
People think presenting is scary because...
