akame ga kill... well it is just a regular shounen with shounenish characters. only thing it setting different is that people actually die and not saved in the end by the power of friedship *cough* fairy tail *cough*
But it's soooooo bad though. Even if that weren't the case, that manga has so much ecchi that they'll pretty much have to either tone it down (I'm okay with this, but some scenes are extremely suggestive, so this might be impossible because of the context), or censor the crap out of everything.
I am fine with censorship as long as it gets an uncensored bluray. Censoring ruins it first watch, like Tokyo Ghoul would be so much better if the screen wasn't half black 95% of the time.
lol at the "really interesting and original". pretty much everything about this show is a cardboard cutout of other animes. they're like an unartful, talentless, low budget version of studio trigger haha
At some point the show got so bad that it actually became kinda entertaining, like Valvrave or the manga Prison School, except Valvrave eventually got so bad that it wasn't even funny or ridiculous anymore, just bad. I know it is doing a whole lot of things wrong, I wouldn't praise it, nor would I ever talk about it seriously, but I still watch it.
Why the hell am I watching anime for entertainment anyways?
But on a note not relevant to the plot or characters, I always welcome Iwasaki Taku on the soundtrack.
It's a good show, the first episode really surprised me, its good to see a show with some proper violence. The fight at the end of the last episode was sick too.
I don't even know how people develop connections to these characters. When the first one died when s/he did, I realized I wouldn't care about any of them.
Why read the manga when you can get a better experience watching the show. Still this anime is sooo good. I watched the first 4 episodes than took a small break but after I came back to watch the rest, it got WAY better. Its a must watch in my opinion; and a bonus is its uniqueness.
