I'm not looking forward to flash jump. I enjoy this class the way it is. I just want more mastery and higher dmg...... But oh well... Back to grinding.

@realestTaboo I'm saving my Hayato for that no cooldown Hitokiri Strike. I'm the bind mule for the guild
EDIT: I was explained just a while earlier that our 1v1 is something like Mille for Phantoms which means after the initial startup delay of 570ms we will be doing ~3200%/second with hypers.
Not sure if this is a game changer for anyone but... yeah, there's that :o

I'm excited for change. However, I felt the only real issue we had was our mastery, and damage on our skills everything else seemed fine. I'm not much of a bosser and now due to the change in our 1v1 I doubt I ever will be lol

Summer Rain has two versions now (a stanced and a non-stanced version) and they both give a 15% damage bonus. I wonder if they can stack with each other.

EDIT: Turns out they don't stack. Not surprising, but a bit disappointing nonetheless.

There's a new video with the skills that was posted. There was also a new zak video and she doesn't use Shinsoku at all and I'm assuming because it's just too slow as seen in the skill demo video
I'm going to take a guess, maybe that Akatsukitsuki skill is kind of like Mercedes' Ignis Roar, chaining different attacks for extra attack power or something.
Ignis Roar says "Attack Power +3 when using a combo attack skill. Can be stacked up to 10 times. Duration: 10 sec". And the thing about Ignis Roar's extra buff is that it doesn't have a cooldown, so like using Gust Drive and Staggering Strikes over and over again keeps the 30 extra attack power thing active.
I'm going to assume that Akatsukitsuki has the same 10 stacks, it just has that duration of 20 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds, so it's probably like the same kind of thing as Ignis Roar.
It's a bit depressing how they made the attack cycle like that so we can't freely choose which attacks to chain with, it's just like Jett's Starline skills(pressing the attack key 4 times activates Starline 1, 2, 3, and 4 in order). They should make a special macro window for Akatsukitsuki so we can choose our own combo to use.
Ohh you're right. I checked the video again and Akatsukitsuki changes skill icons in the quick-slot menu every time it's used.

The locked-combo concept feels really counter-intuitive. The skills that Hayato is supposed to use always changes depending on the situation, so it doesn't make sense to lock us to one fixed cycle. Oh well, as long as this doesn't negatively impact on the combos we have now, then I won't get too hung up about it. Though I wonder if we're allowed to weave other attacks into the cycle.

Side note: I'm thinking that long pink stabby thing is our new way of removing skill delays while in Battoujutsu Stance. Sanrenzan was important for removing the landing delay of Vapor Blade and Falcon Dive, but seeing as how Sanrenzan isn't going to be available in this new bossing stance, I'm going to assume this new skill will act as our new means of delay removal. Given its incredibly short animation it is suitable for that role.

Ehh, I never really used Summer Rain regularly for its buff. I guess I'll like this change, just to be able to use one more attack and not worry about that long ass cooldown. But holy frig it needs a lot of katana points, like 700?
And from what I can understand about Battoujutsu, it's basically like Enrage that changes Sanrenzan into that red stabbing attack. I looked through that Zakum video, but I didn't see the guy use Shinsoku. Maybe it's because he's just 105, I'm just hoping that the stabbing attack isn't the new bossing skill, it's kind of ugly, like they got lazy with the animation(like most of Shadower's skills).

@Repentant I'm going to take a guess, maybe that Akatsukitsuki skill is kind of like Mercedes' Ignis Roar, chaining different attacks for extra attack power or something.

[MP 20 consumption, 20 seconds, can show off your basic skills, attack power 1% rise by triggering attack stage, re-use the waiting time of 10 seconds]"

Any possible guess as to what this might do? The Hayato uses it at the 2:18 mark and follows it up with Shouryuusen+that new flying skill+Falcon Dive, but I can't figure out what it's actually supposed to do. Maybe it removes the delay on all the skills mentioned in the description (that would be a bit silly since comboing them together shouldn't result in a delay in the first place, but that's all I can get from the translated description). Also a stacking damage buff by the looks of it. Looks kinda interesting, but confusing.
Is "Flight Madokaha Blende" the name for Hitokiri Strike? If so, we've... lost a lot of lines and a lot of damage from that skill. Flying Madokaha is an entirely new skill. Hitokiri Strike is still present according to the official Nexon page - it was also seen in a demonstration video they released earlier. For some reason Hitokiri Strike and Whirlwind Cut (as well as a lot of the hypers) aren't shown on that Silver Bullet page.

Stance Switching seems kind of like Heros' Enrage... I'd rather not have to toggle back and forth, thanks. However it miiiight be something interesting to use. I mean it's better than having trash multipliers and a ridiculously long delay for our 1v1.

My questions are:
1. what is this Sword Attack advancement thing that goes up with every level? Is it its own 1v1 attack?
2. Is "Flight Madokaha Blende" the name for Hitokiri Strike? If so, we've... lost a lot of lines and a lot of damage from that skill. I only hope it can still bind and has 0 cooldown (there's no mention of a "re-use waiting time" as seen in other skills though, so there may be hope).
3. Can Iron Skin still stack and achieve 100%+ status resist?
I'm more excited after reading the hyper skill for shinsoku aka the god speed sword thing. Since it's like hurricane, what does the +1 att and speed do for us?
I have mixed feelings about the new keydown Shinsoku. On one hand it could work really nicely since Hurricane can be canceled into another skill instantly, and that would be helpful in keeping the gameplay flow seamless when we need to refresh the crit buff from Hitokiri Strike or the 20% damage debuff from Flying Madokaha. On the other, however, it could very well ruin the fluidity of skill-chaining since there is that awful delay between starting up Hurricane again after using another skill, and that would make for some jerky gameplay. My hope right now is that the class designers had the foresight to make Shinsoku's startup animation linkable with other skills, otherwise I can foresee a lot frustration with awkward delays in future. Hayato gameplay is meant to be fluid, and I'd prefer it stays that way.

I'm having a hard time figuring out their reasons behind this new stance mechanic. </3
