What do you miss most about the Old MapleStory?
Title says it all.
I probably miss the long boatrides and the victoria monster maps... Like the threeway-crossroad (or something like that) and Pig Beach. When Level 120 wasn't considered as "being a noob", and was considered impossible. Oh. And when people didn't spend 80k NX trying to royal their hair.

Old Maple was the worst.
No Hackers, when glitches appears to be hacks to people, HHG1, the war for kpq
Also miss that watermelon event where you had to go pass tigers or something. Ahh, good old MapleStory. Missin' it.

Ahh, this brings tears to my eyes. I miss old MapleStory, where everything was always hard, and my cousin would always watch me play when he was like 17 and i was only 7. T-T And I was making an Archer and had no idea about skills, and I kept pressing ctrl, over and over again until I was level 16 Then I grew up. and i was about 11 when BB happened. Ugh, that sucked. I miss the old maps like the one near Henesys where level 100s+ would be, ksing noobs, and when Henehoes were actually fun. Now? This is what people say. "NOOO IM STRONGER THAN YOU." " NEXON, WHY DO YOU ALWAYS MESS UP?" " OMG MY RANGE IS SO HIGH" "B>20 ATT WGS" Really -,- Now I'm going to leave before I break out.

Honestly, if they could just being back all the maps, I would be happy.
I liked when training was harder. The training spots varied based on your class. When it was LESS about damage. I would also like my friends back that quit because of big bang.

A lot of the people who play today didn't play 6 years ago. That alone is already a "change" in the Maple community. It's not so fart-fetched that the people who play today might differ from the people who played back then, is it? For one, back then, there was a lot of grinding, and it was a lot less "pay to win". I wouldn't be surprised at all if the crowd back then was inherently more patient, because that's what you had to be to put up with the snail-paced leveling.
I doubt anyone's experienced enough of the community them and now, so no one's really in that position to say things about it like they're undeniable facts. Based on my experiences, it's always been a mixed bag. Overall though, I liked the community better back then, and that's my truth. You can deny my truth, or anyone else's if you really want to, but you're not likely to change anyone's mind.
Also, why can't the people you met in the old Maple be a part of the old Maple? We all draw boundaries somewhere, and there is no "right" way of doing it.

Finding a hidden street when they were actually hidden. Oh man, those were fun times.
Also, towns other than Henesys being heavily populated because you actually had to be in a town to do its PQ.
When cash shop was a decorative feature.
99,999 damage cap, and having fun with random people, and not just for PQ's.
I missed the old Sleepywood and when Skeles were the best training spot, aswell as buying 1.2x family xp.
I liked the old design for heneseys. I don't care for HHG though.

I miss the old community and the old maps (the dungeon ones just outside of Sleepywood and all of the old Ant Tunnel in particular).
