Got my Reboot Shadower to 150. I'd go further but I already know what Shadow Veil is like. Nothing else good to unlock anyways.
The extra strike for Boomerang Step helps a bit, instead of mobs taking 3-4 Steps to kill, it now takes 2 Steps.
Assassinate definitely got better with Flip of the Coin, critical rate stays high enough for the first part of the skill to crit more often.

It's a good class for newbs, but the problem is Phase Dash during 3rd job, it makes it impossible for pets to loot mesos. Why does Nexon take so long to fix this? I already stopped using trash Dash. Score could have been higher if it had its old unique skills back, but I guess damage and numbers are the only thing that matters now. You used to be cool, man.

good for you. not really your place to tell someone they are making mistakes. the dagger had a purpose back when i wasnt "funded".

@prokite: I would hardly say it was a mistake. Ive had that dagger for about 2.5 years now.

@moogra: i have mpe pots, and i had gone with sw long before i ever got +1atk speed. I had switched over to nl for a couple of months and got extremely lucky and had gotten it. Ill be switching to a fafnir after the rest of my gear is done as i dont see much benefit in dumping 200+ on a good fafnir dagger, when that can be put elsewhere for now.

@hattysoopro: i thought sw had 10 slots?

@moogra: actually SI gloves dont break softcap, the only way to break it would be with runes, greenpot, or queen soul buff. but yes i agree that SW dagger speed + att boost doesnt outweigh the benefits of a faf, even if you primed a faf and transposed it to the SW for the extra +10att in scrolls

Regarding sw daggers:

Since shadowers have a soft cap of faster(2) without green potion sw dagger does not help for attack speed unless you don't want to switch speed infusion gloves or don't want to buy one. Also saw that you had attack speed +1 level which falls under the same thing. Without green potion it will do nothing, but with it you'll be at 0 anyway, so the dagger attack speed does nothing for you.

At very high boss and total damage 6% attack (assuming attack on all 3 lines) will be better than 30% boss. However it's even hard for 6% attack to beat 30% on reboot. Still, I've never seen 6 lines of attack on a weapon. You'll probably only have 2-3% more attack which won't compensate for 30% boss.

The base attack gain is minimal. SW primed is 272 at 0 stars, 376 at 15. Damascus is 359 at 15. It's 17 attack, which is something, but when you have 1500+ you're seeing maybe an increase of 1% base attack. Not bad for sure, but not great. With that and 3% more attack, it still wouldn't really compensate for 30% boss. There's also no resell value.

I have a sw dagger myself, and I'm not sure it was actually worth it for me to buy it way back for 30b. I use a fafnir damascus now which boosts my damage on dojo bosses.

Made a Shadower in Reboot like 2 days ago, wanted to experience the growth of a Shadower from 1st to 4th job, because I don't know what it's like with a Savage Blow that can mob, or how it's like without Band of Thieves and the other old skills.

1st job was straight forward, leveled up with a claw and stars using Lucky Seven.

2nd job was surprisingly fast, better than 7 years ago from what I remembered. Savage Blow had a good change, yes, but what about Steal? What's the point of having 2 mobbing skills in the same job? Couldn't they just improve on Steal and just leave Savage Blow the way it was 4 years ago? I never used Steal at all. Sure, Steal might be useful on bosses, but I've never seen anyone use it while they boss.

3rd job was a nightmare, I hated using this dash skill. It kept pushing the meso sacks that mobs drop and prevented my pet from looting any mesos. Now I know why Nexon is removing this effect from ...that dash skill. It's like they know everyone has a pet by now, like a necessity. I don't even know why Midnight Carnival exists, never used it, they could of just made a passive enhancement skill for Savage Blow when it was still a single target skill. Meso Explosion sucks, there's way too many mesos on the ground when Pickpocket is toggled on and I can't send them all flying away at once because of this goddamn cooldown. There's no reason to have Pickpocket on anymore because of how crap Meso Explosion is. The only good skill from 3rd job is Shadow Partner, maybe Dark Flare too, but damn, Chief Bandit is a very sad job, a horrible experience.

4th job, I only got to level 131 by the end of the day. I noticed Boomerang Step has less delay and is a lot longer in range, that's nice I guess. Assassinate already replaced Midnight Carnival right away. Assassinate's stance effect is great, I just wish I didn't have to keep the detailed stat window open to know when the 100% stance effect wears off(it lasts for 30 seconds btw), they should just re-add the buff icon with the timer from when it was in the test server for the RED update. Assassinate's final hit still resets Prime Critical's buff, they should at least remove the guaranteed critical, because it feels like these two skills don't work together properly, like sibling rivalry. I guess Flip of the Coin gives enough crit rate for it to not even matter.
I don't know what else to say, I need to level some more.

Yeah I know, Midnight Carnival is not really a bad skill because of the damage cap and number of hits it can do. I'm just a noob and this was my personal experience with these skill changes.

I should probably go find a Pescas before it's too late. Err, I guess it's called Briser Slayer now? Wtf...

@intjmikey: because sw has faster attack, and higher potential. And in my eyes thats more beneficial than the 30%boss i lost from not having full cra set.

@hattysoopro: im curious as to why youre using SW, also did you transpose it or just go straight for the SW?

February 12th: Gained a level on my Shadower while messing around in Ludibrium for a bit.
Also replaced his dagger recently.

got a bone weapon to anvil onto the dagger im making and saved up safety scrolls+css to finish tracing it (7/10)

finally cap on bstep and assassinate with flip the coin, just not on hellux and hmag.

December 1st: Fused a mustache from the Everyone Needs One Good Mustache event and ended up with one with potential and bonus potential perfect for a Thief.
If my Shadower doesn't end up using it, either my Night Walker or Phantom can claim it.
Completed a few forgotten low-leveled quests around Victoria before I logged off for the night.

got my glove and belt. Got my belt to 7star and got my glove to 8star. Still have 5 no booms left. So we will see if i can get to 10stars on both.

Cubed a few things and Midnight Carnival started creeping near 70m hits on non-PDR bosses with guild buffs.

Do you guys know if Dragon Khanjars still come at random Attack stats from like 13 to 17? And what's the best way to scroll them now? iCoG/CoG with return scrolls/shield scrolls I'm assuming is better than Spell Traces and 10%/30% shield for wep atk?

Just started regearing my shadower. Gonna be a slow process while I'm still maining my kaiser. Currently 300k range.

Just messed with the event masks and some old nx I had to make this avatar lol.
