in this case people are downloading them to play at (Japanese) release
nobody said they aren't going to buy the US copy when it comes out, esp. since plenty of the game's features won't work on an emulator.

Not sure if I'll be able to play after tonight soooo yep. I just want to do 6v6 single battles, mixed tiers, lvl 100 mode preferably. And one more thing: I'm a rookie at competitive battling, so don't expect toooo much.

Yeah, a lot of the old Pokemon got a lot of new attacks or get their attacks earlier.

I'm surprised that Dunsparce is doing to well. He solo'd my rival without a scratch.

@iCrisis: I think I'll stick with Tangrowth. Not a problem having another tank on my team (especially since it's pretty good at setting up for captures and stuff anyways).

With 3DS/DSi, you can use an app called Dream Radar, which allows capture of Therian Forme genies.

I don't. Not really.
Just fight whatever pops up in the wild and the trainers and rotate your team often and you should be fine for exp for the most part o_o

She's easier than she was in B/W. Her flaffy is way easier to deal with than another Emolga.

Just added a level 25 Braviary to my team because I needed a flyer. Comes with dream world ability, Defiant.

I used my Dunsparce and kept using dig. Eventually I managed to take out her Flaffy and Emolga. Once that was done, I started setting up with my Servine and took her out.

@malapo wild Riolu appear back in Sangi Farm at the start of the game! granted i think they have a fairly low encounter rate, but you still should've run into one given all the running-through-grass you have to do there

also it's really not common for people to dump their starters. almost everyone i know with an ounce of originality will often favour a lesser-used pokémon

Lol[/quote]it's because they're implied to be Together or something i think. they have a conversation in Aspertia City (where Cheren's a Gym Leader) in which they mention it being the first time they've met in two years or something i.e. the span between the events of the original B/W and of those in B2/W2
basically it's heavily suggested that those glasses are Cheren's and he gave them to her as a parting gift? i guess

but beyond that i'm not sure. hoping their relationship develops throughout the game because it's really cute and i love cheren's new design so much

No (but I'll look into it), and I know abilities and stuff are things to consider, so I use smogon.com sometimes to see if my pokemon would be much different in the new gen. I've played through b/w already so I have an idea of the differences, and I know a bunch of pokemon of mine would become a lot less useful if they're put in b/w2

But for now, I'm sticking with SS because when I played through black, I just got incredibly bored and dropped the game. I'll play through black 2 definitely and if I like it, I'll just start my EV training and everything in that game instead

@xlDanteIx: Eh, not the end of the world lol. I do use AR for a few things (nothing that breaks the limits of the game) like getting items or pokemon that I can't obtain on my own (or would take forever to obtain), so if codes are made for b/w2 then I should be able to replace any items that I lost and haven't re-obtained in the new game

My team for SS is slowly coming together, but I think it's gonna be a lot of trial and error for me. I don't like a lot of the b/w pokemon, so I'm not sure if having those available to me in b/w2 would make much of a difference.
