They should have used MisusingTV to promote it. Matt would have done an excellent job.

why would nexon hire actual maplestory players to promote the game when all their viewers already know/ play maplestory.

@helpingly: bc they have broader audiences. there's no point in paying a Maple exclusive YTer to do it because Maplers are already watching their videos. smarter to invest in someone who has an audience that isn't just Maple.

there are actual maplestory streamers that know what they are doing, and are entertaining! this guy is unbearable
I don't mind that Nexon gave Cowsep access to the server to test it out but I wish that they gave some access to people who play the game too such as streamers like Misusing. That way they could have played together and helped him out a bit or something...

I think the idea of a promotion is to show the game to new players, so I don't see why having a new player do the promotion is bad. Just because he isn't perfect at the game doesn't mean the promotion sucks o_o
Anyways looks like it's confirmed that we're getting post-balancing Kinesis on Day 1, judging by the skills.

Kind of wish they got someone familiar with recent MapleStory to do the promotion, maybe C9 Hai. Watching this guy play is making me cringe.
