pre-bb was crap in terms of content and it was boring. the p2w model maple currently has is its major flaw. cubes and major nx reliant items that boost damage ruined the game (or were wrongfully implemented) but that doesnt mean the game is more boring than it used to be. if you fail to see that then Idk what else to say.

I play on a v62 pizza slice and it's much more fun than playing post big bang. The rates are good, 4/2/2, not too easy to level and not too hard. its called maple Royals

I did and I agree with the guy. The game was far more limited, the players far less respectful and the game was WAAAAAAY more grind-heavy. It was a lot more tedious to play. Heck, in early Maple, 10% an hour was considered "great exp". You'd have to grind for days to get anywhere. It was nonsense.

I was around since very close to the beginning. I remember when monsters attacked towns. My Hero was 45 when Ludibrium came out. I remember grinding from 60-70 at Hectors, because of the constant KSing at Coolie Zombies from DKs, Assassins and Priests (of all things), not to mention any other class that wanted a piece of the map. I remember FoG when that came out, I remember trying to train at Himes... yeah, I remember it all. Sure, I had good times with friends, but if I were to compare the game itself to what it was, it's no contenst that the current iteration of Maplestory is leaps and bounds ahead.

So you think it was fun taking 3 months to get to lvl 70 right? You think it was fun having limited classes and jobs to play right? No, definitely not fun. The only thing worth missing pre bb was the community, besides that bigbang MapleStory owns in every other category by far. Things the game has now (star planet etc) weren't even imaginable back then. So naaa you buggin.

I've played Maplestory since 2005. I prefer the state it's in now because there's so much more to do.

v83 has more jobs and has more plugins for custom stuff. you should probably look for a 1/1/1 rate server from what it looks like
