Karma is a terrible support. Yeah, she's good in the laning phase with her empowered Q poke but outside in teamfights she's so bad.

1. She doesn't really have a ult
2. Her snare is one of the worst, you have to be in close range and wait within like 2 seconds within range
3. Her shield and movement speed boost lasts for all of 2 seconds

For a short period of time Karma was played frequently, but people slowly realized she's a bad support compared to other available supports.

If you want to kite, you might aswell pick Nami instead with better utility.

Easier to play is arguable, but the difference between a trash a support and a support that is slightly not trash (e.g: actually wards) changes games extremely easily. Granted, screw supporting/being supported by someone you're not in a call/voip with.

Cant have a good game as adc without a good support.
Usually when I play adc, I respond to the supports plays

Doing something more for the team? Their purpose is to help one of the strongest damage dealers on the team get through the laning phase and peel for them later on. In some cases, supports can even initiate teamfights (Zyra ult, Annie ult, Thresh/Blitz hook, Braum mustache, etc.)

If you think that way then you're probably not that good in league.

Supports are so important, I main ADC, they dictate how the lane phase will go. They determine if its an aggro lane or a farm lane because they have all the initiate in the lane.

I think i'm a pretty good adc but I've had plenty of supports carry me or carry the enemy adc.

Thresh is one of the best peelers in the meta... He can also be played aggressively against certain comps. He is anything but useless lol.
